Villa banana is one of the cheapest place to stay in Dubrovnik. The view of the Adriatic Sea from the hostel is magnificent. The staffs are friendly. But the place is just too far away from the town. You have to climb so many stairs. If you carry many bags you should hire a taxi or uber.

Its a ...correct place to stay if you are not alone, and if you arrive by the day. Otherwise you could easily get lost on the motorway up there, with no lights around, trying to call them but no one answering, because the " blue house you ll see once you get off the bus" is absolutly not directly here...

I booked this villa one night before I arrived and I have sent my arrival time and carrier bus to them by email and msg to reconfirm the free pick up service they offer to provide. They replied me to call them or msg them again once I arrive. The day I arrive , I spent a lot of money...

Dubrovnik is expensive, so we were happy to see this place, lovely owners, affordable and an amazing view over Dubrovnik! Rooms are a little small but there's an outdoor area to chill, not the easiest to find but worth the effort!

We (my boyfriend and I together with one friend) stayed at hostel Villa Banana for 2 nights in August. The hostel is a little bit far away from old town centre – 15 mins walking when going to old town centre and 30 mins when coming from old town centre – there are a lot of stairs to go up...

I came to Dubrovnik and was promised to be picked up from the bus but they did not arrive and I had to find wifi to organise it however, the man was there within 15 minutes so that's not too bad. They gave us some lemonade and biscuits on arrival which was great. I was not happy with the bathrooms...

I been there for three nights and all was cool. Staff are incredible and nice. Petra is the only who speaks English but the others try and that's great. The rooms are cool, but the toilets are not the best. 20 minutes walking to the old city. Great view :)

20 days of travelling and thats the worst hostel we've been so far. Hosts are kind but that is not enough. We paid 80 euros approximately for one night which is more than a fair amount for a "hostel". Wifi is not working, they want an extra 5 euros for the use of air-conditioning, the room as well as the...

If you are in Dubrovnik only for a couple of days you should really stay in the old town. This hostel is nice enough with friendly staff, but it is too far to get to from anything. Especially in the summer on a hot day i really don't recommend the hike up the hill to get here!

Had amazing views from the Windows and obviously to get that you have to walk up a hill! However the man picked us up from our bus within 10 minutes and was lovely. There wasn't a secure place to leave bags for the day, but overall a fine and good value place to stay in Dubrovnik!
