You are in the middle of everything, overlooking Jupiter's Temple. Our room was well-equipped, even a computer, though we didn't need it. The room was very colorful and a nice view from the window. We slept comfortably and really felt as though we were living in Split for a couple of days, that's the best feeling when traveling. You are...

We loved living within the Palace! Our purple room was large and really comfortable and the owners (father / daughter) were friendly and helpful. (Unfortuantely can't say the same for the travel agent who shares the office space! She was sour faced and ignored us despite the fact that the owner had told her to call him when we arrived.)...

Rooms Base was in a perfect location, easy to find based on photos provided when booking. Room was clean and had all the amenities. Bathroom spotless and great pressure in the shower! The room overlooked the street that led from the square but was not noisy. Bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy and arrangements to check out were simple even...

Unfortunately TA let us down in this accommodation. We booked a double but was given a twin room, two single beds pushed together. When we asked the owner why this was he said the other rooms were booked. We pressed further because it stated in the booking a double, asking why we were not given the correct room, given that...

Top floor room was quiet and clean, with more amenities than the average sobe (safe, hair dryer, tea kettle, desktop computer) and a bigger bathroom than is typical for Europe. Location can't be beat- literally next to the Temple of Jupiter and within sight of the Peristyle, so we sometimes BYO-ed wine and hung out there at night. Host (Ivo)...

It's right slap bang in possibly the best location in town so the appeal is immediate. Minutes from anywhere you would want to be. The room was clean and the shower was excellent. It isn't terribly exciting or modern, but maybe there's charm in that? I'm not sure if we hadn't closed our window properly or if the guy upstairs...

We stayed for 3 nights in BASE Rooms in Split and were very pleased with our choice. It is centrally located just off the Peristil, which is the main square in the Diocletian's palace, so it was perfect for walking round the old city and going out in the evening to the numerous bars and restaurants that are located within...
