This place has a great location, there's loads of bars on the doorstep, it really handy if you wanna go out an meet ppl. I was there when some festival was on and everyone else was going to that, but it didn't matter. Very friendly vibe, staff were really helpful and kitchen was our drinking room!!

I had a great stay as did everyone else there. Very civilized and a good owner. My bed was good and the facilities first rate Superb location, the only shame is there is no outside area but you get that in an "old town" dont you? FOOD?? The whole town lacks normal, reasonable cheap tasty food EXCEPT ONE............. FIFI's Go...

Great location however you may get moved. Best to email and ask the exact location of your room before hand. Because you could be a 10 minute walk from where you think you are. Really friendly place. The apartment we stayed in was nice! Very basic but all you needed with great host and good location.

The location of the hostel is prime. It's close to all the action and the water. You're walking distance from everything that you'd need. The building is about 500 years old which adds to some of the charm. However, location and charm aside they had bed bugs. It was clearly a BED BUG INFESTATION in my mixed-bed room and even...

As soon as Nadine told us about this problem we called a registered Pest Control company. The earliest they could come was three days later. during those three days some guests, in the other dorm elected to stay at the hostel. When pest control came I closed the hostel for four days as the chemicals they use are quite strong....

This a is a great small hostel where it is very easy to meet and talk to new people, particularly as the upstairs kitchen is a 'device-free' zone which encourages conversation. Al himself is always very helpful and arranges trips to the local bar for karaoke and drinks and is very hands on when it comes to his work. Particular...

Excellent location and very friendly ambience. Al is a good-natured English bloke (who also speaks Swiss German!) and the Croatian and Bosnian girls who work there were lovely. Karaoke night was a great laugh with them! This hostel is small and cosy, so you'll make friends easily. Only downside is that the air-con isn't switched on during the day, so...

We were two friends who backpacked one week in Croatia and eager to meet new people, learn about local food and hot-spots and still get the relaxing holiday feeling. The hostel had all the basic facilities, perfectly located in the Old Town, Al himself is fantastic, local tip for food and sea-side was top notch, and the small size of...

Great location, stayed here Summer had a great time. The hostel has a nice feel to it, people hanging out in the evening before going out. The staff were really helpful, tho I didn't meet the owner, Ivana was really great and knew lots of local stuff and some interesting little local bars. I liked having a device free zone, as...

Stayed here 3 days in Sept, found the staff very helpful, great location and even went for a drink with other guests with the owner, which was a laugh. Split is a lovely little town I would recommend it especially in the old town centre.
