Apartment in a renovated house in Diocletian Palace. Two Levels in a central position in the Old City. Irina our host was wonderful and so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It was our first time in Croatia and a wonderful experience. Thank you Irina. May just mention there are a lot of steps so may not suit...

Excellent service the manager was amazing, We had had the privilege to change apartment from the top floor of an apartment just upstairs. This is because I had some trouble climbing stairs. Position in Split was absolutely perfect, close to everything. Everything was above expectation , the only small minus was the breakfast which we thought was a bit thin...

WARNING: very narrow staircases and corridors with no lifts. It is in a historic building after all. Not suitable for people with mobility challenges or extremely heavy suitcases. The owner lives in another part of Split. You need to communicate about the time of arrival to arrange to collect the keys. This place is in a pedestrian-only zone. You need...

Just as I tiled this review, I was in need of an overnight stay , so I booked what looked nice and was available on line. Wow ! I did not expect this . Your own personal little chalet . Quiet , yet smack in the middle of the old city. The walls in this apartment are older then my...

We had a fantastic two weeks in Split, and staying in this apartment was part of that experience. Looking out from the bedroom window over the red-tiled rooftops each morning and being woken by the church bells from the historic bell tower was bliss. This was a relaxing, chilled-out city break unlike any other we've had. We were right on...

Salvezani is located in the heart of the Diocletian Palace. Irena, the hostess, looked after us very well, making sure we knew where things were and suggesting what we might like to do. She even organised a taxi for our departure.

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. Irina was very accommodating and extremely helpful giving us all the info we needed and more. The apartment is very well equipped and in a perfect location to visit Split. My only hesitation would be the slightly unnerving staircase leading to the bedroom which I wouldn't recommend to very elderly travelers...

We just stayed one night, but the unit was perfect for our needs. The owner is fantastic! When we arrived, I was unclear on how to get specifically to the unit. We had a vendor phone the owner for directions, and instead of giving directions, she walked outside the walled city to where we were to lead us to the...

Gorgeous quirky spotless apartment right inside the palace. Everything you can think of! Highly recommend it. Small but luxurious. Just watch anyone with mobility problems as might be difficult due to steep stairs. Host so helpful meeting us and recommending where to go.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
These three beautifully restored apartments are situated in the very heart of Diocletian's palace. The house that they are in was built in 16th century. Two apartments are split-level and encompass second floor and attic space and measure 30m2 and 35m2 respectively. The third apartment is on the first floor and has a separate entrance. It is worth noting that in recent years, Diocletian's Palace has been used as a filming location for the HBO series "Game of Thrones". For those of you who are familiar with it, you will for example, see streets and basements of Diocletian's Palace in parts of Daenerys Targaryen's city of Meereen. ... more   less
