We stayed at the San Jorge before and after a 3-day trip to Lake Atitlan. Old Town Outfitters arranged the hotel for us, and we met many others coming or going from treks there. The grounds are very nice, as is the staff. The rooms are quite basic, but have everything that's need for a simple and budget-minded stay. There...

We enjoyed our time at San Jorge (pronounced San Hore-Hay). The hotel is an extra 5 minutes walk from the main square compared to other places but unless you're a particularly lazy person I don't think this is an issue. The setting is nice, it's a set of rooms surrounding a grass courtyard with a fountain. You share the space...

The hotel is very simple, clean, inexpensive. The staff is very help and courteous. They helped plan our trip with hotel to Pana. We really enjoyed our stay, breakfast included was delicious. Would definitely stay again. Plan on going in November and will be stopping by. Walking distance to a lot of things. Hotel is located in a very quiet...

We just stayed at the san Jorge for w week. The main downside of this hotel is the owner, who is really unpleasant. In addition, our room had dirty walls, torn, stained carpet and dirty sheets. The hotel advertises free Wi-Fi, but it only works in certain locations outdoors. The staff is very sweet, and the gardens are lovely, but the...

Stayed here recently for 5 nights before moving on to a higher priced hotel. Wish we had booked our whole stay here. Rooms were nice, staff was friendly and caring, location is great, and a free breakfast every day. The gardens are beautiful. The hotel is safe and quiet, yet convenient to the park and shopping and restaurants. Only down...

The owners where ready to help you in any matter. We had an early checkout (3am) because our trip was long and at 3am there was a person who took...

My daughter and I stayed at the San Jorge for 10 nights, visited Lake Atitlan and then returned for another 2 nights. We found the owners and staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble or them. When my daughter was unwell they organised medication to be delivered from a Pharmacy and whilst we were...

The hotel is in a great location and is reasonably priced. The rooms are basic but clean and the gardens are beautiful. The breakfasts are a bit mean with mostly servings of granola and fruit. the staff however are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

The Hotel San Jorge is a lovely quiet oasis in a lovely city. This family-run hotel has a handful of rooms arranged around a garden with a fountain. The owners have a good rapport with the guests, amicable, professional and discreet. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though they are perhaps somewhat soulless, being organised as small dormitories. The bathrooms...

We recently stayed at the Hotel San Jorge for Santa Semana. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. The gardens are lush, beautiful, and peaceful. The location is outstanding!! Everything is within walking distance. The staff is helpful. However, it may not be the best choice for a family with young children as there is limited room to play...
