I can't expand much on the other reviews; we stayed in one of their sister properties in Antigua for several nights (which we also enjoyed immensely) and they sent us here when we wanted another three night weekend. The resulting room was a bit larger,...More
This great little economical hotel has nicely decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. The bathroom was roomy and hot water was reliable in the shower. The grounds have lovely flowers, tables and chairs and a friendly parrot. They serve an optional breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs,...More
I lead Habitat for Humanity trips world wide. It's very important to have a nice place to rest your rad after a days work. We did not build in Antigua but did stay for a number of days prior. I was impressed. The staff are...More
This place is great! It's definitely the best deal around. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights. We had a room with 2 double beds that faced the beautiful garden (room 103).
The courtyard is by far the best part of this place....More
We used the hotel as a base for exploring Antigua and area plus as an early early 4am departure to Tikal. They packed us breakfast for our Tikal flights and were super aware at our stress level or making sure we got up early.

I traveled alone, and catching a random van from the airport to Antigua cost from $10 to $13. I don't know if they charge double for a couple or give you a discount since you would have the same drop-off point. Hotels will arrange for pick-up and return to airport, about $15. If you're attending a language school, they may try to overcharge for airport-shuttle service. I think my school charged me $40 one-way. If your hotel can't arrange for a shuttle, try one of the ubiquitous travel agencies.
