Ok so this place was great, we loved Antigua! We stayed here for a week in a private room (not the cheapest we have found but still no complaints) and left the day it changed hands, we met the new owners and were worried about the future of this hostel as they spent the first few nights before they took... The hostel had changed owner and names but they neglected to tell us this so we spent ages driving through the streets of antigua on our night of arrival. They then refused to provide breakfast to us which had been included in our booking. Showers were very poor. Overall not impressed

This places has changed hands & changed names! I only noticed by chance the day before our reservation. The new owner refused to honour our reservation that included breakfast. The breakfast menu was a fortune (the most expensive we saw in Antigua!), he offered us Q20 off each day but this would still have ended up costing us half as... More

I stayed here for the last few days of my trip to Guatemala. The hostel was extremely clean, quiet and tranquil. which is exactly what I needed. A place to reflect on my 6 weeks in the region and to do some shopping before I left. The staff were very helpful and concerned about my safety if I was going... More

Around a year ago in May 2014 my partner and I were travelling around Guatemala and decided to check out Antigua after hearing so many great things. I don't usually write reviews but this is an exceptional circumstance. Holistico had so many reviews and we had a great impression on the last few reviews so we decided to check in... More

The staff is great, friendly, helpful and always available. Great value for your money, and the location its also pretty good, you can find great healthy restaurants near by. Even though the hostel is pretty small, it gives you that comfy feeling, where you can relax and just enjoy a beautiful sunny or rainy day at antigua.

These guys are fantastic. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is included, so that's a bonus. Laundry can be done here. There's a lovely terrace that's a good chill out space. They are able to book transport to and from Antigua and can arrange tours as well that pick you up directly from the hostel. Free coffee, juice,... More

Made a mistake when I booked as we wanted ensuite & had to share a bathroom. That wasn't an issue as from our room could see the bathroom, so didn't have to wait around. Shower cubicle could be a bit bigger or have more hooks to keep clothes dry. Our room would benefit with a mirror. Didn't realise the breakfast... More

Beautiful spot to relax for a while. Had a great time. So much so that a week later, I had to come back to Antigua due to a change in plans. I didn't worry about trying to see a new place. I came right back. Great breakfasts, and Sergio is one of the premier hosts/owners of the city. I had... More

I loved this hostel from the first moment . It's clean and comfortable. The location is really good. The staff is really friendly and they help if you have any questions. My plan was to stay here for 2 nights but I stayed one extra night because I felt so comfortable.
