We stayed here for three nights at the start of our tour in Guatemala. It was a great place to begin. Marleni and Daniel were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Fresh towels every day and constant hot water. It is in a very quiet location and we slept very well (even managing to avoid...

I will start with the good.... rooms are spacious and Marleni is wonderful! Marleni will call your transportation, made some reservations for us and is a delight to be around. She's the one to ask for restaurant recommendations. The place appears to be safe as well. If you are looking for "location" - please, look elsewhere. Not a cafe in...

I don’t think that we need to dignify this reviewer’s critique, you can just look at all the other reviews and decide for yourself which version is true, this person’s version or everybody else’s. This person made a last minute reservation cancelation of the last two weeks of her stay, during our peak season and demanded a full refund or...

Marleni not only makes travel and tour arrangements, she is a fantastic teacher. She will give you a good rate for an hour in the courtyard. We were hooked up with a private driver, Alfonso. He took us to 6 stops outside of Antigua. Off the beaten path. You need some Spanish to understand him, speaks clearly and slowly. He...

This hotel was exactly right. The room was large and tastefully decorated. Some of the rooms opened onto a well manicured garden. My room on the first floor (up one floor) had a great view of the volcano and lovely sunlight. Breakfast was continental -- served on time with fresh croissants and fruit. Everything was beautifully designed (room, bathroom, public...

We spent eleven nights at Chez Daniel during our exploration of Antigua, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is the just the right distance from the town center - close enough to walk, yet far enough away to have a neighborhood feel. Daniel has created a first-class B & B, Antigua style...and provides great local information and insight to his...

Chez Daniel is exactly what you want out of a bed and breakfast, perfect location, comfort, and a great host. Daniel is a world class photographer, and his images show an intimacy with Guatemala that is truly beautiful in a deep and profound way. Needless to say, he knows the country as his own and his prints decorate the rooms...

This property only has 4 rooms, but it’s very spacious. There’s a glorious kitchen perfect for people who prefer to cook their own meals. Helpful owners & staff who even arranged for me & my friend to have breakfast at 4am before we left for Tikal. Best to take a taxi when returning after 9pm.

My friends and I stayed here while visiting Guatemala. The Inn is comfortable and friendly, and the location is great. Far enough away from the noisy town center, but an easy walk to town. I would definately recommend staying there.

My wife and I recently spent several days staying at Chez Daniel. We've visited Antigua several times but this was our first time staying here. Truly it was the most beautiful, comfortable place we've stayed. The staff are exceptional, the friendliest and warmest we've come across. In short, we loved are stay here and hope to return another day.
