This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in a long time. The rooms are in a series of courtyards that were very relaxing. Each was large and most included a skylight in he bathroom. The included breakfasts were either buffet or from a menu of a few choices and were very good. It is conveniently located...

A group of 17 ladies stayed at the Camino Real at the end of a 7 day retreat in the wilderness. We were ecstatic. The elegant cobblestone and long driveway with hanging flowers was such a beautiful entrance. The volcano in the background didn't hurt none, either. Giant ferns line the walkways, flowers are in bloom like an eternal garden....

Words cannot describe the appreciation and wonder I feel about Hotel Camino Real. The staff and personnel are awesomely nice, the food was exquisite, and the installations were divine. A perfect place to stay for family and the right location for a honeymoon.

Fabulous gardens, peaceful, lovely setting, pleasant staff. Large room spacious, two double beds. Sweet on bed at bedtime and luxury items slippers and towelling robes. Pity had to pay extra for the coffee in the room and not complimentary. First morning the breakfast was waiter served and I was disappointed the continental breakfast was only toast. Second morning much better...

After staying one night at a hotel with a very hard bed, which gave me a backache, I had to scramble to find a last-minute good choice. Camino Real was available and I was truly astonished as the taxi drove up a long driveway, to see a beautiful hotel with Volcan Agua as a backdrop. It offers the elegance and...

Classy hotel in a great location. Beautiful rooms, an excellent breakfast buffet, and only a short walk to the main square. Our room was close to the outdoor spa, (calling it a "hot tub" doesn't do it justice, as it's like a small pool) but they not only state it closes at a certain time, they actually cover it up...

Antigua is a must visit in Central America. And from Florida, it is closer than Puerto Rico! History, charm, culture, active volcanoes, cobblestone streets, a walking town with fabulous restaurants, local arts and genuine crafts. The best hotel in Antigua is the Camino Real Tikal. Step back in time to the 18th Century. One of the newest hotels in Antigua but...

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The facilities were beautiful and very well kept. The facilities are new but are built with a traditional layout making ample use of courtyards. We would recommend CR-Antigua to anyone visiting the Antigua area.
