My wife and I thorougly enjoyed staying at the Casa de Don Pedro. What was supposed to be a two day stay ended up being a full week. Not only was quality of the establishment second to none (rooms, service, tranquility), what really won us over were the Casa's charming owners, Benjamin and Cecilia, who made it an unbeatable experience....

We had the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful city with the help of this small and cozy hotel receiving all the help we needed and making every day of our stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are quite comfortable with great facilities and thanks to the amazing staff and owners there isn't a moment in which you don't feel...

My husband and I spent two nights at La Casa de Don Pedro in late June 2011. The hotel is nice and we slept well. No one else was staying there and I'm not sure how many rooms they have for rent. The overall experience was good but I think that there are nicer, cheaper places to stay which are...

Thank you very much for your review. SInce your visit in 2011, the hotel has come along way. It has been completely redesigned and updated. As I'm sure there was probably just some confusion between yourself and the previous owner in regards to the rates. All of our rates are publicly displayed and can be found on the website as...

Choosing the Casa de Don Pedro as a place to stay in La Antigua, Guatemala was one of the best choices we could have made. Treated as family from the moment we arrived, we all felt a special connection with our home away from home and the proprietors, Benjamin and Cecilia Villegas. Every detail of our stay from the driver...

I Stayed at this hotel during a golf tornament, and decided to visit Antigua. It was located at the entrance of Antigua. This town is not very big. You can walk the town. The rooms were surprisingly nice and clean, the bathroom was great also. But the best part of our stay was the Breakfast, it was delicious, also set...

We chose Casa de Don Pedro because a TA reviewer commented on the hosts' helpfulness (English speaking) and we love to chat with people who live in the cities we visit to learn all about them and get advice on things to do not necessarily in the tour books. Casa de Don Pedro was all that and more! Once thru...

Personalized Attention Actually, we have stayed at Casa de don Pedro twice, and both times the service, the rooms, the atmosphere, the warmth, etc. have been outstanding. We even had the chance to meet the owners, Ceci and Benjamin, charming people who made our stay memorable. Great breakfast with the exceptional Guatemalan coffee! We will be coming back!

“Unless you are a deep sleeper or early riser - best to avoid room #1 which is on the street; although it is a beautifully decorated room!”
TedandDoris, 9 Jan 2015 | Read review
“The nicest room by far is the fireplace room. HOWEVER, it is RIGHT on a busy street. If you want to open the window you will be flooded with dust and noise. Instead, choose a room that faces the courtyard, like #3 or #4.”
