If you want a fancy western style hotel look elsewhere. If you want a very quiet night and to be awoken by birds singing come here! The hotel is very pretty. All rooms open to the center courtyard which is very well maintained. The included breakfast is very good and the setting ideal. The hotel is a bit away from...

i enjoyed my stay at Hostal Las Marias. The people there are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable with good beds. The coffee is ready early and the fresh breakfast is made to order, included in the price of the room. The location is a bit far from the center, a 15 minute walk or a quick...

Hostal Las Marias was the perfect accommodation for our trip! We took a group of 11 collegiate soccer players and 5 staff members to visit Guatemala and finished our final three nights in Antigua. Monica and her staff were very accommodating as we were able to rent out the entire place of double and single rooms. Breakfast for the group...

Antigua has a lot of charm, and staying at Hostal Las Marias added to that charm for us during our stay in late February. The service, suite, and breakfast were all wonderful. The only thing I would have preferred was if the location was just a bit closer to the city center. Walking home at night was fine two people,...

This small hotel is a delightful place to stay, out of the hubbub of Antigua's busy streets. It's in a gated and tranquil neighborhood on the western edge of town. . .also its only drawback, as it's a little far away from most places you would want to go. Hostal las Marias is lovely, with rooms around a plant-filled courtyard...

I've spent three nights here from the 7th till the 9th of August. The hostal arranged for us the pick up from the Guatemala City Airport at a very convenient price. As soon as we arrived at Las Marias, a really nice guy welcomed us giving tones of useful information about Antigua. He also booked for us the Pacaya Volcano...

Hostal Las Marias was a gem. Close was Walk to the city center and the markets. Safe and secure. Very quiet. The staff was available and helpful and accommodating. Very relaxing and beautiful. We will stay here again. This is no hostel but a beautiful personal small family home.

A quiet hostel with excellent staff. Good breakfast and nice rooms. Would come again when I'm back in Antigua. You can walk to the centre, central square is 4 blocks away. We paid 41 dollars for one night and stayed three nights. Lovely garden and living room

Every now and then I try a new place in Antigua, and I'm usually disappointed. I keep coming back to Hostal Las Marias, and I'm always happy I did. First, it's in a very quiet gated area, a bit a way from the center of town. For some people that may not be a plus, but for me it's priceless....
