Grand Traverse Resort and Spa name says it all. It is grand. Great for convention. This a very popular convention spot. Lots of shops inside Melissa and Doug for Pre-schoolers to Dylan's Candy Bar to resort wear. Nice pool and water slide for members and resort guest alike. They have a outdoor pool but I didn't visit it, it was...

I was expecting a lot more. So that may be my fault. I've seen so many great things advertised about this resort my expectations were very high. The layout is pretty large so be sure you know what you want to do, and give yourself enough time to get around. I was hoping that this would be a better experience...

This was our first visit to this resort. My husband made the arrangements as he was attending a conference. We did get a discounted rate for the attendees. Even at the discounted rate, I don't feel the room was a good value for the money. We were definitely in the older section of the resort, our room overlooked the roof...

The bed, bedding & room were all extremely comfortable. One of the best hotel beds we have ever had at any price. Ate in their restaurant & that was also great. Grounds & view both great. Coffee in the lobby would be nice.

Went for conference in the spring. The staff I interacted with were pleasant, ready to help and explain. I was able to stay in the Tower which had a beautiful view of the golf course, with a small view of the bay. My Tower room also had a mini fridge which came in handy which I believe the hotel side...

Resort has everything you could thing of. Multiple restaurants, shops, extremely family friendly. One complaint is our room did NOT have a mini fridge or microwave, would've made things a whole lot better.

After reading all of the reviews on various sites, we decided on a room in the tower. Good view on the 15th floor. Not sure what the non tower rooms are like but the tower was nice. It was more modern than a Best Western/Howard Johnson I'm assuming. There are 2 pools indoors that were nice. One was a kiddie...

You must eat at the top of the hotel. Spectacular views of the bay! The hotel itself is one of the nicest in Traverse city; that being said, room updates woukd make this place perfect! Dillions candy bar is always a must stop for my 3 kids.

The rooms are dated, which is fine but so is the service. Our room was not cleaned or old towels removed and replaced on our first and only full day there. We ordered room service for breakfast and it had a 'special request' section. I asked for a soy latte. Not only did one not come but no call to...

We went to the resort to attend a conference and have a few days to rest & relax. The overall experience was great. We were able to find anything we wanted to do without leaving the property, there was a sports bar with the usual bar food & drinks, a casual dinig restaurant with breakfas, lunch & dinner options as...
