We recently had the good fortune to spend four days at this superb B&B in the heart of Nantucket, and can't say enough about it. To begin with, the location is perfect: only steps away from the bustling center of town, yet perfectly quiet and conducive to silent, undisturbed sleep. The house itself, over 150 years old and owned by... More

We stayed at the Captain Albert for about four nights over fourth of July 2013 (sorry such a late review!). Forrest is a wonderful host and the inn was in a great location close to everything. He provides beach chairs and things. The white room was super comfy :) Forrest let us stay in the room late on our check... More

It is nice to be back on a wonderful island knowing that we would feel like staying at home. Resting, reading a book in the private garden while kids are playing with Jessy, our lovely golden retrivier. Long and fabulous breakfast. The best start to afford a day at the beach.

Good location. Owner pleasant, but made me feel uncomfortable at times due to his apparent fascination commenting on young boys. Friendly staff. Privacy not certain or guaranteed. Pilots who fly privately-owned/ corporate jets stay there. Neat history of the house.

We booked a last minute, one night getaway at this B & B and had a fantastic time. The "host", Forrest, couldn't have been more accomodating and gracious. The rooms are spacious and clean and everything you might need, from beach chairs to towels to a daily fix of Peanut M & M's are provided. I'd go back in a... More
