All the things you love about B&B's are here: comfy beds, immaculate rooms, yummy food and interesting people. We stayed two nights in December and Lisa, the innkeeper, was full of practical information and delightful stories about the island. She also provided wonderful, inventive continental breakfasts, homemade gingersnaps in the p.m. and lovely cheeses in the evening. Great coffee, readily...

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend. The location was very convenient and we loved room 2, which had a nice private bathroom. We found the inn keeper Lisa and Sari, who cleaned our room, to be very friendly and informative. During the wine and cheese hour Lisa gave us a lot of interesting history of the island and...

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary at The Martin House Inn and we definitely will be returning! Our Innkeeper, Lisa, was a joy to meet and made us feel right at home. Conveniently located, The Martin House Inn is comfortable Old World Charm with modern amenities, lovingly appointed rooms and sitting areas. The delicious breakfast is not...

My daughter and I stayed at the Martin House in June 2015. Lisa, who is the Innkeeper, is exceptional. We so enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others. We will definately be revisiting the Martin House in the future and would want to stay no where else.

I traveled solo to Martin House for my birthday and had an unforgettable trip. I had stayed there once before with my sister and fell in love with the cleanliness of the room and old school Nantucket charm. This trip was made extra special by Lisa. She did everything she could to make my day special. She went above and...

I returned to the Martin House again this summer. Comfortable, homey, cheerful with a great healthy breakfast to start your day (plus, cookies in the afternoon!). If it weren't for Lisa, it wouldn't be like this. She pays attention to who you are and anticipates your needs. It's hard work to make things good when you have so many people...

Providing a review of a property that I have never stayed in.... I had a living social deal and perhaps that plays a role in how I felt treated, but I felt treated quite shabbily when I tried to schedule a weekend visit. Felt belittled because I didn't check on available dates before I bought or schedule as soon as...

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend and couldn't have been happier. The breakfast and coffee every morning is delicious. It has a very homey feel that we enjoyed. The location is right downtown yet a block outside of the hustle and bustle which we appreciated. The widow's walk also offered a nice view of the area.

The place was just perfect for us- good location, comfortable, with an attentive staff and innkeeper (Lisa). The breakfast buffet had a good variety of cold items (cereals, juices, yogurt, fruit) and tasty homemade breads. Eating out on the porch was a nice way to start the day and chat with other travellers. There also was a large common area...

Having been to many B+B and inns on Nantucket we found Martin House Inn a place we are going to come back to! Not because of the little repairs that are needed for a over 200 year old inn , not because of a little touch up paint inside and out, that is needed for the real fussy, not for...
