The Maguire House was far beyond any B&B experience I've had. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, including a stocked refrigerator of wine and cheese, snacks, a selection of teas and coffees and, most of all, a breakfast like no other. Of the selections offered, I had fresh scones, fruit salad and eggs on artisanal bread with avocado, roasted tomato and...

We just returned from our stay at The Maguire House and I can truly say this by far the most outstanding experience at a B&B. Terry and Paul are exceptional in their communication, attention to detail, and quality of environment. I felt like they were part of the family by the time we left and we were only there 2...

From the moment we drove up the driveway to the house, we knew this was something special! The Maguire House is a charming place to stay. Each guest room has a theme, we stayed in the Rose Room. Our view out of the window looking over the back of the property was absolutely amazing, with the statue fountain, the roses,...

Believe all the previous reviews. The Maguire House Bed & Breakfast is excellent on all counts: welcoming and helpful owners, Terry and Paul, who keep a well-maintained inn located on 44 acres in a delightful and relaxing setting a bit more than an hour (we think) west of Boston. There are fresh-baked afternoon snacks and beer and wine to have...

This B & B was one of the best we have ever experienced. The house was immaculate and well maintained with plenty of refreshments and snacks. Terry and Paul were very welcoming and wonderful to talk with during the stay. Breakfast was awesome and the views of the lake and mountains inspiring. You can not go wrong in spending time...

Having never stayed at a B&B I wasn't sure what to expect and had some concerns. We were so thrilled with our experience. We arrived in town much earlier than originally expected. I called Terry to ask if we could check in a bit early and she graciously invited us to. When we arrived, Terry greeted us at the door,...

Beautiful surroundings , gracious hosts and personalized service. A wonderful place to get away .The view from the back porch is out of a story book. Breakfast is delicious - simple and fresh. There are opportunities to meet other guests if you would like but enough privacy that you feel comfortable for a romantic weekend. We plan to go back!

What a wonderful stay at the Maguire House in Ashburnham! The hosts Terry and Paul were so welcoming and accommodating. Such a well run B&B - they paid attention to the smallest details, and the breakfasts were fabulous! A peaceful retreat to relax and enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Naukeag, Mt. Monadnock, and the surrounding hills.

Maguire House is a gem: a country home situated on gorgeous grounds that cascade down to a spectacular lakefront. We visited in June, when the gardens were bright with color and morning and evenings were delightfully cool. Hummingbirds and songbirds kept us entertained as we watched the sunset dip behind the NH mountains at the far end of the lake....

We stayed at Maguire for a long weekend, attending our daughter graduation from Cushing Academy close by. Paul and Terry have made of their home a little paradise, wonderful setting, pristine home very nicely decorated. Our room had full view on the lake, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom/shower outstanding. Special mention should be made to our hostess...
