Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious with a full kitchen and a free self service laundry on the property. Salt and pepper, insect spray, toilet paper for the week and detergent provided. Nice hot shower.

What a delightful place this was, everything that you could need was there even the things you wouldn't expect like a picnic bag & washing powder these little things really made a huge difference. There's free washing machine & dryer on the property & a mobile phone was available in the room to use. We had car hire organised through our travel agent but they made a mistake & cancelled it but the owners fixed this all up for us & made it all such a lovely experience. They truly were amazing going above & beyond for us. Thanks

A peaceful self-contained villa with everything we needed. Great location, lovely grounds and terrific amenities. We really enjoyed our trip and would stay at Hibiscus Crown again if we returned to Norfolk Island.

Nice newly renovated clean and fresh. It was convenient and close to the centre of town. Everything was well presented and maintained. Staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. It was very handy to have the mobile phone to contact the office when required. The car was essential to tour the island. The special breakfast tray was a real treat.

We had a new renovated 2 bedroom apartment that was very clean and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. There was no servicing for the time we were here but had plenty of towels, tea and coffee to cover our stay. The pods for the coffee maker were the wrong size so unusable but there was instant coffee too. There is no reception here and you have to go into town to fill in the required details for your stay. We had a rental car which is a necessity here. Though only a 10 minute walk to town it is extremely dark as there are no street lights or footpath. The apartments have no other facilities other then a guest laundry. They provided us with a local phone that ran out of credit after 2 local calls but we could still receive calls on it. If your after a nice roomy apartment in a quiet location you can't go passed the Crown

We stayed at Hibiscus Crown for 10 days at the end of November 2020. So glad we actually got there. What a year. The unit we stayed in had been recently renovated. Every thing was newly painted very clean and comfortable. The unit came with a hire car, local phone, picnic set, all the towels sheets crockery cutlery etc. the little kitchen was great. We ate out mostly but I cooked a few meals and we usually had breakfast at the unit. It is close to town but you did need the car to get there unless you were really fit. No great view but it had lovely gardens surrounding and very quite as off the road a bit. we had the place to ourselves for the first few days and then one other couple but really you didnt see them. The laundry was great and it was good to have the option of using the clothes line to dry the clothes. Bed was very comfortable.

Very spacious and comfortable unit. The area was quiet but at the same time had a flat easy walk into the centre of town. Ample parking for our hire car. When we did a tour they came to our door to pick us up. Excellent location.

we were fortunate to be upgraded to two room unit with a king size bed in each. everything amazing, clean and all facilities we needed. when we were stranded for another night rental was waiting at airport and our unit was still available. No need to use kitchen as cafes etc so great especially the Bowling Club. think we ate there the 6 nights of 7 that we stayed.
