Everything we needed, including a picnic basket, was supplied by Whispering Pines. Location was great! The area around was quiet and relaxing. They organised car hire for us and it was waiting at the cottage. As we were 2 couples, the 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms was very suitable for our needs. Very clean. I would highly recommend Whispering Pines should you visit Norfolk Island! It’s a great place to visit!

Whispering Pines has wonderful views of lush green norfolk pines and glimpses of water views. We loved our stay at Whispering Pines. The accommodation was excellent with comfortable beds, and it has self-contained facilities as well as a bbq on the back patio. Would definitely recommend.

We were greeted at the airport by a lovely young lady then driven to our spacious home-away-from-home cottage, number 5. It was immaculately clean, extremely well appointed & comfortable. Close to town yet very quiet. Time spent on the patio soothed our souls & relaxed the bodies - comfortable chairs, peace, birdsong, verdant valley & mountain views, glimpses of the sea, refreshing breezes. Top spot to watch the sunrise. Pretty gardens surrounded the cottage. Everything needed for self-catering was supplied, even paper towel, foil, plastic wrap, extra tea-towels, carry bags for shopping. Our laundry had all we needed – washing machine, clothes airer, pegs, detergent, bucket, bowl, ironing board & iron. A Hills hoist was outside the back door. Fans & a gas heater were provided. Screened windows & back doors but no bugs during our stay. Bedside sound systems were in both bedrooms & a large TV & DVD player in the lounge. Plenty of quality towels including beach towels. Local mobile phone supplied. Level car parking right at the back door. There was nothing we required that was not included. Even a half day orientation tour was included. A brilliant holiday spot.

Excellent accommodation and and well positioned with lovely views. Comfortable beds and very roomy cottage with the option of being fully self contained. Transfer from airport to accommodation was well organised and included a basic insight of what was around the area.

What a beautiful position these cottages have. Sitting on the back patio with a view over the valley was so peaceful and relaxing. Great setup in the 2 bedroom option as each is fitted with a large ensuite. Everything that you could want is provided but the only thing that they could expand on was that as we were there during a warmer period there were no fans for the bedrooms which would have prompted me to give a 5 star rating.
