My husband and I just had 8 nights at Coast in the Rahooloo Cottage. The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine, pegs and clothes airer,a well stocked picnic basket, snorkels and goggles, beach towels and a phone and car. The cottage has spectacular views towards the south and Phillip Is. We had a resident kingfisher sitting in the tree everyday as well as roosters, cows and horses popping along to say hello. As mentioned by others, there was a mossie or two the first night, all the windows were open to allow for the lovely breeze including 2 without screens, so we kept those closed, and found a plug in mossie repeller and repeller mats that had been left by someone. No more mossies. Coast is an easy drive to town and to Kingston and Emily Bay for a swim. The pool at Coast was a lovely temperature and made for a great way to relax at the end of the day. The Boathouse and BBQ area is well equipped with supplies left by others. We were able to use a little oil for cooking and coffee for our last morning, so convenient. There is a Wifi HotSpot at the Boathouse so once a voucher has been purchased it was great to wonder up and keep in touch with everyone. We booked tours before we left to ensure we could go the days we wanted. But also booked a couple once we arrived. We enjoyed the walks through the National Park and Botanical Gardens. Even though there were some food shortages, due to no supplies arriving for months, every meal we had was lovely, from fresh salad sandwiches to Trumper at the local restaurants. The fruit and vegetables, all grown on the island, were fresh and delicious. A very relaxing holiday!

Husband and 8 had 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment (Unit1). Very well appointed with. Huge window to look out to the lush green garden and a long balcony to relax on as well. Other units didnt have the window bit as we were at the end of the row this was a bonus. Unit had lots of spare towels if needed, kitchen had everything required if you wanted to eat in (except a vegetable peeler). Host supplied a local phone with $5 credit which was really handy when making any bookings and also to phone home to NSW if you wanted. BBQ area had a lovely boathouse style enclosed and covered area to eat in with all necessary BBQ items. Past visitors leave any leftover groceries here to be used which was helpful. Didnt have to buy tomato sauce! Car supplied was all that was required to get around the island. We had friends in the next door unit and they were equally pleased. Book tours before leaving Aust if you are keen to do them as we found most only run a couple of days a week and some were sold out when we arrived. Only problem with accommodation was the occasional mosquito so take repellant and the drain in the vanity needed a good cleanout as water wouldn’t drain away easily. We would recommend The Coast as a couples accommodation. Easy drive to town and the heritage area and the island is easy to navigate and doesn’t take long to reach any destination.

We loved it and couldn't fault it. Beautiful country side with rolling pine clad hills to the sea. Our accommodation was the best! Our host was great.. our Niau cottage was comfortable and it had everything we needed. The scenery spectacular! The cows and horses around us a plus. Beautiful sunrises from our deck.. Starry skies, the sound of waves crashing in the distance and roosters crowing early morning made for a very memorable holiday.. We have both said we would love to go back for longer next time.

Perfect spot to rest up and do nothing, or go out and do heaps. The unit had everything you could need. Including a perfect view, and verandah to sit and relax. I found the bed very comfortable. Good laundry facilities. Quiet and pretty location. Everything you could need for use, in the boatshed. Outdoor barbie and equipment. Bikes. You name it. Far enough out of town but very handy for everything. Nice just to be a bit out of the town with great surrounds. Cows, horses, birds, chooks . Lovely walking areas. Loved it.

Wow what a lovely spot, the view was stunning. Wonderful lodges. Very well designed and constructed. Nothing was too much trouble. Included use of a hire car. Central Wifi could have been extended more. Fully equipped kitchen. No AC. But temperatures lovely.
