#22 of 49 Speciality lodging in Norfolk Island
Trade Winds Country Cottages (4 & 4.5*) is our family managed accommodation property for the discerning traveller. Our four cottages (one or two bedrooms) and a three bedroom house offer a high standard of outfitting from huge king sized memory foam beds and bedrooms to match all with private ensuite bathroom through to granite and stainless steel kitchens. We outfit the accommodation as we expect when we travel right down to the little things like including a coffee grinder. As Robyn and Greg are available 24/7 just ask as many of our facilities are behind the scenes such as the picnic baskets, eskys and thermos bottles for you to enjoy that out of the way picnic around the island. A hire vehicle may be included in our tariff (insurance and fuel additional). We know you will find so many things to do on Norfolk to explore its unique history, to immerse yourself in the beauty, to pamper yourself in the restaurants, cafes and wellness spas, to enjoy the most amazing golf course or walks through the national park, or just to relax on the most beautiful beaches and that you too will enjoy a holiday at Trade Winds Country Cottages.

We are three independent travellers who like to have three bedrooms and at least two bathrooms. What a find was the Jason Fletcher house at at Trade Winds? Three bedrooms and three bathrooms! Huge living area, good kitchen and verandas on three sides of the house with seating on each veranda so we could all find our own spot. The house and the two bedroom units are set on a large area planted with fruit trees, palm trees, hibiscus, bird’s of paradise, poinsettias. You name it, it was there. Very tranquil. Our host, Robyn, was lovely. She checked in on us every couple of days despite being a very busy person and working full time.

Thank you for your lovely comments about TradeWinds. It is always very satisfying to hear you enjoyed my property and what Norfolk Island has to offer. Had a bit of rain this week so the gardens and grounds are looking fresh and vibrant and very green of course. Always welcome to come again...........

Another wonderful stay at Tradewinds Country Cottages on beautiful Norfolk Island. What can I say that I haven’t said before? Cottages are spacious and clean with a lovely rural outlook onto pastures across the road. The area is very peaceful and Robyn is so helpful and friendly. We took our 97 year old mother with us and Robyn assisted with a few aged care items that made the stay and mobility easier. Many thanks again to Robyn for this help. We keep coming back because everyone is so friendly and the Island so beautiful. There are many tours and events showcasing the island’s Polynesian, convict and mutineer history. Swimming in Emily Bay is also a huge draw card. You should try getting around the island in a Moke for some fun - preferably in fine weather. We even got our Mum in one! - thanks again to Robyn for arranging this with Eldoo Car Hire.

Four of us stayed here for our week long holiday in Norfolk Island. I was so thrilled with my choice of accomodation. Robyn met us at the airport and showed us our rental car and then we followed her to her fabulous, peaceful, well equipped cottages. These are set in the countryside with an outlook to farmland and Norfolk Island cows!! the property has a banana plantation and many other fruit trees as well as lovely tropical flowering shrubs. Robyn could not have been more helpful and supportive during our stay. If you want rural , peaceful well equipped, self catering and modern accommodation then don't hesitate to book this. You will not be disappointed

We stayed at Trade Winds for a week, met at the airport by our host Robyn with a hire car, and followed her back to the cottage. Upon arrival, we were amazed at the grounds and gardens and the size of the cottage. Beautiful, spacious living area and two very large bedrooms either side each with their own ensuite. The large verandah was fabulous looking out over the farm paddocks and the cattle grazing. Most nights we cooked on the BBQ and ate on the verandah, it was so tranquil and relaxing. Robyn was great with her knowledge and her availability if we required anything. We also loved visits from her little dog, Luigi! Norfolk Island itself lived up to everything we had been told and researched. A beautiful place with so much history, and beautiful scenery and amazing bays for swimming. Such friendly locals, and a place that everyone should visit in their lifetime. We will be back again and we will most certainly be staying at Trade Winds.
