We love this Restraunt! We go here for special occasions, anniversaries and birthdays etc.. They do have a pub for more relaxed dining as well. We love it here cause it's original. The food is always excellent. We always try all the German options that we don't regularly have. I would and do recommend this place! It's been some months...

We selected this location due to it's closeness to a rail trail. The restaurant is great. The food was great. The room, was ok. A bit dated, in need of a real makeover, not just a paint job. The bed was comfortable, the walls not too 'thin', the furniture out of character and mismatched (like a collection of hand me...

The Inn appears to be an old aging spinster of a building. It is hemmed in by other buildings so shades are drawn for privacy on two sides which creates a dark atmosphere. All materials and furniture appear not only dated but seriously worn. Overuse of dark brocades and brocaded pillows gives an old bordello atmosphere. Room furniture appears to...

Dear Tripscene: We are very disappointed in your recent review for our Inn. Clearly from the time you checked in, you were not happy. You mention the dark atmosphere. This past Saturday, we experienced record heat in the area well into the 90’s with high humidity. We closed the blinds and shades to help the air conditioner cool the room...

There is no hot breakfast. No homemade bakery. It was low 40's, so we asked to have the heat turned up, which didn't help. We thankfully were given a space heater. There's no control (thermostat) for temperature in the room. Maid left a note outside our door saying she could not make up our room because we didn't hang up...

A beautiful motorcycle trip for 2 couples out to western mass. found us staying the night at the Haflinger Haus. The rooms were huge and reminiscent of the rooms at the Mt. Washington Hotel, dated but certainly charming. After a wonderful meal at the restaurant we retired to a great nights sleep. A special note of thanks goes to the...

Spent a restful Saturday evening at the Haflinger Haus after a day on motorcycles. The restaurant had very delicious German and Austrian specialties. The rooms were large and comfortable. Going above and beyond, the owner was very helpful in providing a jump start to a motorcycle the next morning! Very warm and hospitable inn with great food!

Stayed one night , ate dinner and had a wonderful experience. Since we were in a hurry to go somewhere and runniing late, we asked to get our food quick and they accommodated us. Service was fantastic and staff friendly. Food was great too. Loved the old feel of the place and all the old instruments displayed in the breakfast...

First of all, the staff were really nice. I called ahead and asked for something gluten free for breakfast because they serve a continental breakfast. They did have some gluten free cinnamon rolls which were delicious. Unfortunately, where they miss the mark is you have to plug and unplug the appliances (microwave and toaster oven) to heat your food. There...

Hiked Mt. Greylock on Sunday. That was the reason for the stay. Had Dinner at the Tavern on Saturday Night. It was very busy with a mixed crowd. Food was excellent. Service was very good. Booked the trip late in the week so we ended up with Room #1 could hear the patrons coming and going. Used the Air Conditioner...

We loved the Haflinger House tavern and Inn because the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Adams is a very quaint, quite community. We loved our stay and accommodations were great. My husband had the lobster macaroni and cheese while I enjoyed a delicious filet mignon.
