This B&B definitely earned its glowing reviews! Here were the highlights: 1. Location - Right in the heart of downtown, and what's better than being able to leave your room & walk wherever you want? 2. Breakfast - We had pumpkin bread with grapes & cheese, a small dish of fruit with a sweet sauce, and 6 cheese quiche with...

We had tickets to a concert on a Sunday night at Maryland Hall and decided to make a little get-away from DC to stay overnight in Annapolis. Chez Amis was our choice and we were thrilled with every bit of it. Highlights included: 1) DOG: You know it's going to be a great place when a dog greets you. Maggie...

We spent two days and one night at this very charming inn. The innkeepers were very helpful , since this was our first trip to Annapolis. Breakfast was delicious . We sat at a cozy table with three other couples. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay there again and recommend to everyone. It's also located conveniently so...

We have stayed in Annapolis many times and absolutely nothing compares with this wonderful bed and breakfast. The rooms are perfect, the breakfast tres gourmet. Elly, our hostess, made us feel like family. We loved every minute. The only problem I have recommending this, is that it is already very popular. Only 4 rooms, so book well in advance.

We just returned from 4 nights at the Chez Amis. We were with 3 others couples who are close friends.Honestly, it is the nicest Bed and Breakfast we had ever been to and will go nowhere else while visiting Annapolis. We felt so at home and relaxed--we hated to leave. The owners, Elly and Joe Tierney are delightful and made...

We stayed with Ellie and Maggie the dog recently and were made to feel right at home. The room was immaculate and the 3 course breakfast was wonderful. The location on East Street is very convenient to Historic Annapolis so you can just park your car and leave it (you also get a 50% off card for the city garages)....

Ellie & her sweet pup Maggie made us feel right at home immediately! Her special touches are throughout the home .. Our State House room with hardwood floors were spotless and furnished beautifully. And the little things like a special makeup face cloth & fabulous products ranging from body wash & lotions were replenished each day. The breakfast each morning...

My husband and I were so pleased to find a coveted room during our beloved Sailboat show. This B&B is a rare find. Our hostess Elly was friendly yet unintrusive. Maggie, the resident pooch, was a comforting presence and added to the ambiance. Our room was both comfortable and immaculate. We also enjoyed the delish brunch immensely. My only concern...

When searching for a place to stay for the Annapolis Sailboat show, I happened upon this gem and Elly (innkeeper) exceeded our expectations! It was great meeting the other guests in the morning and talking about boats, all over a deliciously prepared breakfast.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
