Nice place, room small but not too small. Was very quiet despite being right on Main Street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided at deli/resteurant downstairs very good. Place does great business so must have repeat diners.

We stayed at the Scotlaur for two nights during a weekend side trip to Annapolis. The Scotlaur was a compromise: less expensive than the other downtown hotels (although certainly not cheap) and a better location than the chains a few miles away. Parking in Annapolis is scarce and expensive, so I wanted to be close to everything. What I Liked...

The Scotlaur Inn, billing itself as a B&B is not your typical B&B. The hotel sits in the 2nd and 3rd floors of an old building smack dab in the middle of the action in Annapolis, right on Main Street. The hotel sits atop a very popular "Delly" restaurant. The restaurant is noisy and emits lots of great smells, but...

We stayed at the Scotlaur Inn (Scott and Laura) while our son was at Summer Seminar at the Academy. It is centrally located in downtown and right on the free tram line. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was big and hot. The owners are an active part of the establishment and have been running Chick and...

We just stayed at the Scotlaur for New Years Eve and it was great! We stayed in Rm 302; me, my husband, my 18 month old, and 3 yr. old. We brought our own folding cot (didn't care to try the one in the room as it was a bit big) and pack & play for the kids to sleep...

Just spent 3 nights at the Scotlaur and enjoyed every minute of it starting with check in at the Delly . We had room 304, it was quaint, got 3 good nights sleeps, never heard any other guests at night. There is no elevator, just to let you know. Room was clean and cozy, we were there to sleep not...

This quaint family run Inn is located in the heart of downtown Annapolis above the infamous Chick and Ruth's Deli. We have stayed here multiple times. The rooms are very quaint, but on the small side. Breakfast at Chick and Ruth's each morning is included in the price of the room. The staff is always ready to help and very...

Stayed over on a Sunday and Monday night with my wife as part of a driving holiday. Check in was a bit haphazard as you check in at the cashier counter of the delly, however not a bad experience. Ted Levitt the owner is very friendly, as are the staff. The room itself was a pleasant surprise, it was very...

The Scotlaur Inn is above the iconic Chick and Ruth's Delly on Main Street in Annapolis. You check in at the cash register in the restaurant. It's a little crazy and crowded but everyone is so genuinely nice that it doesn't matter. We stayed in Room 302 which was astonishingly quiet. It was not particularly elegant but it was clean,...

Found this place thru B 'n B Finder.com. We are new to B&B experience and based on this, it's probably not for us. When we checked in we were elbow to elbow with people trying to pay their food bills at the "Delly" & other "Delly" employees trying to bus tables, since the wait staff at the diner double as...
