I booked Gibson's, because I was intrigued by the fact that it had a lot of colonial history attached to it. It had a lot more than that! The place was very warm and friendly. The room that we stayed in was a perfect size with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the snacks left out...

Peggy & Pippa, We were 'thrilled' you could accommodate us, along with our Roxy while we needed to be out of our house during the final leg of our kitchen reno this past week! Being close to our main residence was essential, to both John & I, w/numerous contractors running in and out that afternoon. We arrived at Gibson's, checked...

I literally got a trip advisor account to leave this review. My husband and I stayed at Gibson's last weekend for three nights. The best way to describe it I guess is more private than a B&B, but more personal than a hotel. The staff was amazing and friendly, plus we got to meet & play with Pippa the Border...

Gibsons Lodging is truly an experience! The 200 year old buildings were filled with so many antiques, so much history, and it was well maintained and very clean. The spacious rooms have comfortable beds, recliners, and ours even had an electric fireplace and a jacuzzi making us feel like we were home. We went for a family reunion and we...

We stayed at Gibson's Lodging for two nights back in September. There are three buildings. Two are historic houses toward the front of the property and one is a newer building toward the back. Parking is off street and free. Once we parked our car, we did not need it again until we left Annapolis. Breakfast was included with the...

We stayed at Gibson's Lodgings for 2 nights. It is in a Great location, in fact, next door to the Academy. The sitting area and bedroom were generous size, comfy bed and a nice clean bathroom. Downstairs is a handy kitchen, for your use, a large sitting area and dining room. In the Morning, we enjoyed the fresh continental breakfast...

The walls were thin, and we were woken each morning of our stay at 5am by the people in the next room. The fan went on with the light and we had to listen to the drone for over an hour, not to mention the sound of the flushing toilet and the running shower. The location is great, and we...

Hi Melissa, Thank you for your feedback of your recent stay. I so wish you would have let us know when you were here that you were unhappy. We can't fix a problem if the guest doesn't tell us about it during their stay. I am sorry the neighbors were noisy. We do provide noise makers in case of a...

We stayed at Gibson's Lodgings for three nights and were very happy with the accommodation. The bedroom was a generous size, the bed comfortable and the en suite bathroom clean and well equipped. We had a room at the front, overlooking the street, which proved a little noisy in the early morning, when rubbish collections were made. We would choose...

In the car now after having just left Gibson's--that's how important it is to me to leave a review on this lovely place. I moved from Annapolis almost 4 years ago now and my fiance' and I were back in town for a wedding. I had the choice to stay with my parents outside of the city, or stay at...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are fully remodeled and under new ownership as of December 2010. The three houses on the property, circa 1770, 1890, 1988, offer 20 rooms as well as a small meeting room. This is a great and distinctive place to stay while learning about the abundant history of the Annapolis area. We are conveniently next to the Naval Academy and only a half block from the City Docks. Two of the buildings are historic town houses: the Patterson (a 1760s Federal Georgian with 5 rooms and our main office & dining room) and the Berman (a 1890s house with a porch and 9 bedrooms, one equipped for travelers with disabilities). Behind them is the Lauer House, a 1988 addition with six king suites, a full kitchen and a sitting room that can serve as a meeting room. Filled with both antiques and reproductions, the bedrooms are of varying sizes. A central patio and courtyard serve as a common area for all three buildings. We offer free courtyard parking with your stay and a continental breakfast (including a hot waffle bar) each morning from 7:30-10:30. All our rooms are air-conditioned and have free Wi-Fi access along with flat-screen televisions, hair dryers and access to an iron and ironing board. A selected number of rooms are pet friendly with a $35 fee. ... more   less
