The location was perfect, right next to a gate into the Naval Academy and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The host was absolutely the most gracious we have ever met. The room was clean, although the only temperature control was in the hall and affected all the rooms. The mini-kitchen offered complimentary water, soda and snacks. A small...

My wife and I got to Annapolis for the weekend for our second wedding anniversary. I booked Gibsons because of internet reviews, trip advisor, etc. Although a little on the higher price side I can not say enough how awesome the stay was. From staff, to rooms, to parking, to location! It all gets better and better. The whole B&B...

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. It was my first visit to Annapolis, and I could not have made a better choice for lodging! The staff are so wonderful and helpful! The roomscare in three different, beautiful historical homes. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. I loved the common areas, felt like I was...

I chose Gibson's for their location. It was reasonable given their proximity to the city docks and within walking distance of anything I would need/want during my stay. The room was very nice, comfortable and spacious. Bed was very pleasant and I have no complaints on that. Two things I would do different or want changed. I was on the...

I was toying with several B&Bs and chose this one for the parking! We stayed in a back building, which at first looked like a dorm, but was very comfortable inside. We had a huge room with a king bed, to comfy chairs to sit in, and a fake fireplace hanging on the wall. Very clean. Downstairs was a kitchen...

We decided to do a quick overnight in Annapolis on our way to DC. So happy that we chose Gibson's Lodgings. The staff, the breakfast and room were so nice. The room was extremely clean and the location was terrific. We would definitely book again.

I booked Gibson's, because I was intrigued by the fact that it had a lot of colonial history attached to it. It had a lot more than that! The place was very warm and friendly. The room that we stayed in was a perfect size with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the snacks left out...

Peggy & Pippa, We were 'thrilled' you could accommodate us, along with our Roxy while we needed to be out of our house during the final leg of our kitchen reno this past week! Being close to our main residence was essential, to both John & I, w/numerous contractors running in and out that afternoon. We arrived at Gibson's, checked...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are fully remodeled and under new ownership as of December 2010. The three houses on the property, circa 1770, 1890, 1988, offer 20 rooms as well as a small meeting room. This is a great and distinctive place to stay while learning about the abundant history of the Annapolis area. We are conveniently next to the Naval Academy and only a half block from the City Docks. Two of the buildings are historic town houses: the Patterson (a 1760s Federal Georgian with 5 rooms and our main office & dining room) and the Berman (a 1890s house with a porch and 9 bedrooms, one equipped for travelers with disabilities). Behind them is the Lauer House, a 1988 addition with six king suites, a full kitchen and a sitting room that can serve as a meeting room. Filled with both antiques and reproductions, the bedrooms are of varying sizes. A central patio and courtyard serve as a common area for all three buildings. We offer free courtyard parking with your stay and a continental breakfast (including a hot waffle bar) each morning from 7:30-10:30. All our rooms are air-conditioned and have free Wi-Fi access along with flat-screen televisions, hair dryers and access to an iron and ironing board. A selected number of rooms are pet friendly with a $35 fee. ... more   less
