Unfortunatley, this wonderful Western Maryland B&B has closed according the the folks at the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce. They offered several other alternatives in the area that sounded very nice.

This turned out to be the perfect B&B for our weekend out of town. We came for the Maryland Geocaching Society fall event. The location was very convenient to the Friday evening gathering at Ernie's BBQ and not far from Herrington Manor State Park for the next day's activities. Late Saturday afternoon, we came back and enjoyed sitting on the...

My husband and I stayed at Bear Creek Crossing for a long weekend in July. We'd never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and really didn't know what to expect but we had a wonderful experience! Peggy and Buzz are extremely gracious hosts who gave us lots of tips about what to see and do around Deep Creek. We...

We have been coming to the Deep Creek Lake area for about 10 years. We have driven by the entrance to Bear Creek Crossing many times to stay in the hustle and bustle of the immediate lake area. I'm glad we decided to branch out and stay somewhere in a more quite and quaint setting that does justice to the...

My husband, myself and our 17 year old daughter stayed at Bear Creek Crossing on July 4th for five days. Words cannot describe our experience from the moment we were greeted at the front door! The owners, Peggy and Buzz were so welcoming. The description they offer on the site is truly accurate! We felt warmth and right at home!...

Very nice house with rooms to rent. Huge King bed nice decorations. Didnt have breakfast due to the owners taking care of a friend. Gave more time to sleep in. It snowed and was beautiful. You will need 4 wheel drive to get up and down driveway in winter. Normal amenities. No hot tub or jacuzzi. Small bathroom. Very quiet...

Spent a relaxing and refreshing two nights enjoying Peggy's delightful company... Pretty warm room with comfy bed...slept 12 hours straight! Peggy made sure we were well taken care of and had several good suggestions of how to spend our time.

We called 30mins before we arrived to see if a room was available. Peggy was very accommandating and took us right in. Their place is gorgeous. They have everything you need and more. They are nestled in such a fantastic place basically in the middle of the woods. Peggy gave us great ideas of sites to see and places to...

I booked this B&B last minute, because my friends and I came to wisp on a quick ski trip. Normally I'm not a B&B kind of guy. After staying here, Bear Creek has set a high standard Buzz and Peggy are great hosts. They really go out of their way so you enjoy your stay (however ours was too short)....
