Lakewood Camps is a traditional Sport Camp, continually operating since 1853, adjacent to the Rapid River. We provide a private cabin, and three home cooked meals in our lakeside dining room. We offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, and the best fly-fishing for native Brook Trout and Landlock Salmon in the lower 48 states. Arrive by boat shuttle on our private dock on Lower Richardson Lake, and experience a trip back in time.

This is a minimalist but superb trout fishing camps. Located on one of the best trout rivers in the US. Comfortable and functional cabins -- no luxury. Three solid meals. Extraordinary views East and North over Lake Richardson.

Found the rustic experience to be soooo relaxing without road noise, the hustle and bustle of the city and other annoyances. The most notable sounds will be the wildlife, most notably the loons and hummingbirds feasting upon the natural nectar of the surrounding flowers and...More
