If course visitor s to Ofu don't expect a Hyatt. No AC, no wifi in room, but cute visitor s like geckoes, skinks and cockroaches stop by. Comfy bed. Hot water. Snorkeling adjacent. Airport next door. Raina the cook very unfriendly and dont expect coffee early. Ben and Deb owners are excellent

We could not miss the amazing coral reefs of Ofu and Deb was invaluable in making that happen. She helped get our reservation made with the very difficult Polynesian airlines, arranged our boat transport, and even arranged a stay on Ta'u as well! We can't thank her enough for helping us visit all 3 units of the national park.

Deb was amazingly helpful from offering advice for travel planning to assisting with the challenging transportation from Tutuila to Ofu. Deb and Ben cooked delicious meals. We would start in the morning with a hearty breakfast and end with finely cooked dinners served family style. They served some of the best seared yellow fin we have had in our lives....

This is a wonderful place! It's that perfect nearly deserted picture perfect South Pacific island you've always fantasized about, but is impossible to find. The lodge is very comfortable, and the home-cooked meals by Deb the owner just finished off a great day. If you're looking for a perfect snorkeling spot, the lagoon a short easy stroll down the quiet...

This is not the Ritz, this is summer camp in the South Pacific! If you're open to adventure and one of the most beautiful natural beaches in the world, then go to Vaoto Lodge! Just getting there is an adventure. We flew from Pago Pago to Ta'u, then took a van to the dock ($20) and a fishing boat to...

The rooms are comfortable, clean & well ventilated but the clincher is they're a 15 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. For a very modest fee all meals are provided & your charming hosts, Deb & Ben, are great cooks. Evening meal is communal and a great opportunity to compare notes with people from...

Vaoto is a very friendly place to stay. It is bare bones, but clean. I echo all the positive things people have had to say about Vaoto. I enjoyed meals and the breeze off the ocean was a delight. Ofu is a pretty island, and Ofu Beach is isolated and beautiful. The one thing people should know that is not...

I have read all the reviews of other people that have stayed at Vaoto lodge, not much has changed except Ben was flying solo when we were there, so we pretty much took care of our own breakfast and lunch, Ben said ' whatever is in the kitchen is yours to eat' and each evening he would cook dinner for...

This lodge has it all- location, service and value. Ben and Marge are two of the sweetest people you can meet in this world. The service is based on your needs and they are willing to take care of it all including home-cooked meals with homemade bread. And the location is stunningly beautiful.

The place is run by a very nice couple, Ben and Deborah, who are not only very helpful but also very laid back and relaxed. The lodges are fitted with fans, mosquito netted windows, nice bathrooms (hot water, yay!) and proper beds. My friend and I stayed there for five days and would have liked to stay longer if circumstances...
