The first time I went to Panama I stayed in the Las Vegas suites. For the money you get a pretty good room and that's really all you need is a nice clean room. I remember the staff being very helpful and very nice. I mainly chose this as a recommendation from a friend and member of the Monger Network...

Location excellent, closed to restaurants, 24 hrs supermarket and pharmacy, Actually, the restaurant Il Pomodoro on the first floor is a top notch italian restaurant with a variety of dishes at very good prices...don't miss it. Room spacious and clean, with basic toiletries, plus midsize fridge, cabinets and some silverware...it used to be and apart-hotel. Continental Breakfast is included with...

I spent a couple weeks here on a university study abroad trip in May 2013. I thought the hotel was nice. The staff was kind and helpful, the room and living space was a nice size and it's very central to everything in the city. There's even a restaurant connected to the hotel that's got some pretty good food as...

We had a room with 2 double beds, which turned out to be a roomy 1 bedroom apartment set up, which included a kitchen and balcony. This was unexpected and a great surprise. The A/C in both the living area and bedroom worked well, as did the hot water in the shower. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the futon...

Stayed at the Las Vegas for one night before catching a very early flight back to the US. The location was perfect because taxis are always available at the front door for early morning departures and the hotel porter was available to help with bags The lobby is not attractive but don't let that deter you. My room was very...

I loved it, again! Took the double bed room, came with a full kitchen and extra room for ironing (I requested an iron, and came with an ironing board)! Also came with a living room. Front staff was great: Carmen, Yasira, and Harold. They should extend the complimentary breakfast beyond 9:00 a.m., though. A couple of times I got there...

I stayed there from December 13 thru December 25. I loved it! You cannot beat the location. Other people who are talking about these micro-rooms do not realize that they do not have those any longer. The room I stayed in was quite roomy and spacious. Walkable to many restaurants and I felt safe walking about town even at 10pm....

I travel to Panama quite often. I find the Las Vegas a friendly place in the middle of the Congrejo district - up-scale area but reasonable price, with a Wyndham hotel across thhe street -- and a Hilton Garden around the corner. On the next corner down - the Monolo cafe will suite you just fine and within a couple...

The title of your comment: Nice Place - Good location is what we aim for. As you pointed out, we also aim for a friendly environment. I am happy to add that as of yesterday we trippled the speed of our internet connection to the rooms. Thank you for your sharing with other travelers.

Hi, i stayed at this hotel. I received a $55 online per night from their website. It is a very basic hotel. The internet was extremely slow. The staff was good, except a gentleman at the desk who at times seemed not very friendly-but then, this is Panama after all, where customer service is terrible. He does not go out...

“Since there is plenty of horn-honking goin on in this wonderful city, just make sure to get a room atleast 5 floors up. That will keep you far enough away from the city noise. I was on floor 5 and had no problems sleeping.”
