The Deville was once a plush, highly recommended hotel in its day, and is now almost as highly esteemed, with a few exceptions. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, accommodations neat as a pin and our arrival was without a glitch. The rooms are large enough that they could be used as extended stay locations, beds are wonderfully comfy,...

Room 219- nice room being large and breezy. Beds were very comfortable and clean. The room contained a couch and a stuffed chair as well as a desk and armoire. The bathroom was tile and clear walk-in shower door- nice. Now for the quirks. Two windows looked out to a wall- about a yard away. The hair dryer had a...

We stayed in total 4 night (3 upon arrival, and 1 night before our flight home) in this hotel during our 2 week vacation travelling in Panama. Overall we were pleased with our stay. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The location is convenient for getting around Panama City. The room was large and the bed was comfortable....

A fun and funky place. Some extraordinary old furnishings. Rooms are large and comfortable. Welcoming and helpful staff. Their driver Franklin is a great guy. Great neighborhood restaurants. Away from the glitz.

The only good think about this hotel is the large room. This is the worst choice I have made in a long time considering the huge offer in this price range in Panama City. My room had a connecting door with the room next to it and the door was so cheap that I hear everything the neighbors did, including...

Pros: good location, excellent value, huge and charming rooms Cons: service was mediocre as front desk staff was inconsistent, first room was very dark and lacked a working safe (I used the one in a nearby room), breakfast was basic I would stay there again, but would caution visitors from abroad that this is a 2.5 to 3 star property...

Love the old character and location of this hotel! The rooms are clean, large and quiet on the 2nd floor. The staff was polite and friendly. The location is walking distance to most everything. Restaurants, markets, shopping, casinos. The breakfast is just so so. Nothing fancy, but sufficient. The usual fruits, cereales, breads, and an assortment of cheeses, eggs on...

Love this hotel! The rooms are large, quiet, and elegantly appointed. The reception and other areas of the hotel have the same elegant ambiance. Grand, dark, over-sized furniture. Lots of art on the walls. But, it has faded from its former glory days, somewhat. It is still perfectly located, still has the character that few hotels can come close to....

We booked a room in July for a wedding in October through booking.com (BC). When we arrived, they told us we didn't have a room despite the confirmation from BC (we found out later that BC had emailed us while on the flight). I had also tried to contact them to book airport transfers to no avail. Phone number goes...
