Originally, I was planning on staying at Luna Castle Hostel for $110.00 for the week. Incredible price but no A/C and I was not in mood for rooming with a couple other ladies which prompted me to go next door. What a surprise! Although the hotel entrance was a long narrow hallway which led to the small Casa Antigua Office.... More

The description and photos are not helpful. The entrance Is down a long dark hallway off the street. There is no lobby, only a small space with a large dangerous box in the middle of the floor. I lifted the lid to find a dark hole with swirling water. I was informed this was the water for the hotel. Unbelievable.... More

We stayed in the most expensive room at U$ 165 per night over a week end. There was no running water for 2 days as the pump had broken down. We asked for compensation and the front Manager told us that he would ask the owner to favourably consider but so far nothing, They say that the whole area had... More

If staying up all hours of the night due to noise is what you are looking for then by all means consider staying. Excessive loud music from the bar downstairs made sleeping impossible for me until around 4:00 a.m. on several nights. Our suite was very dirty; cleaning tip taken but nothing cleaned in the suite until we issued a... More

The pictures look better than reality, but this hotel was still a good option, especially due to its amazing location and great views. We stayed in Kliemann, which was expensive, but had a kitchen, two balconies and two separate rooms. The wifi worked well and the breakfast was included. If I were to do it again, I would probably have... More

We had the top room which was amazingly quiet during the Christmas fireworks. They bring you a nice breakfast when the restaurant was closed. Great ac and kitchenette. The old city is small with not that many hotels so book early. Old city only place to stay for a romantic visit. Secret bar next door and downstairs. Awesome

Went with my boyfriend for two nights- was given the Taboga room. It's more of an attic really, with no windows so it smells moldy. Very old and not cared for, which is a shame given it's great location. Highlight of the stay- no hot water. When we warned the guy at reception, he just told us that he was... More

+++ We stayed in Chagres and Chucres rooms which have both excellent views and nice balconies with view over both the old and new cities. A must. The rooms are still very big, have a kitchen. The location is perfect as you can visit the old city without being stuck in the middle, the hotel is right at the entrance.... More

The retreat that I had booked recommended this hotel. Big disappointment. By paying 109$ for one night, got me room on top or under of very very loud night club. Room with very dirty floors and no windows and pineapple as breakfast. Location is nice and bed was comfy with nice sheets. Only if I could have slept in that... More
