The thing I liked the best, was that you can wait or sleep in the living rooms until the check in. I arrived at 5 am and was extremely tired, and thankfully I could wait inside and rest in a couch. It got better with the coffee and pankakes I had. There´s a great vibe going on, and everyone has...

This place is really worth a visit. I'm big on a good place to stay--a spot that has comfortable rooms (check) great atmosphere (check--they have amazing art and a light-filled space with high ceilings) and is in a good area (check CHECK--Casco Viejo is incredible). Just as important to me, however, are the people that run it. Anybody who travels...

Lunas is a famous hostel in Panama city and well located in the beautiful Casco Viejo district. It is managed very well, even though it is quite big and has a lot of people every day, they manage to keep the rooms and the kitchen clean. Besides the living room there is a chill area with ping pong table and...

Luna's is a big place and in a great location, but I didn't love it. It has very cool art in the common rooms but overall the rooms themselves felt very dark and dingy. the bathrooms had poor lighting and Some positives are that the beds are comfortable, have curtains and are numbered, and they have lots of lockers if...

I stayed for 3 nights with my boyfriend in a private room (#4). I liked the location in Casco Viejo, the beautiful colonial house, the atmosphere and the pancakes for breakfast. Other big plus is that the bed was good (one of the better ones during our 4 month travel!) and that the room has A/C. Only thing I would...

I would highly recommend this place. It is quite a large hostel, with a lot of people hanging out in common areas, but the old historic building has many nooks and small alcoves to spend a peaceful afternoon relaxing. Beautiful ocean/city view out front. Dorm beds have personal lights, shelves, a large storage space per person, and even a curtain...

What i liked the most in luna's castle is the vibe. Everybody is so nice, the living room makes the discussions easier between travelers. The hostel is located near cute streets where you can walk and take a little coffee. My room didn't have AC because i made a mistake when i reserved it and it can get really hot...

Excellent location, cool atmosphere, comfy beds although some of the staff were a bit disappointing. When I checked in the receptionist failed to mention we had allocated bed numbers. Then middle of the night I was awoken by the night security guard yelling out me that I was in the wrong bed....not cool. With his yelling he didn't just wake...

One the most beautiful hostels I have ever had the chance to stay in. Decorated perfectly with furniture and art, a newly refurbished bath/bed/kitchen. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm with killer AC. Wifi was very good but a little spotty. Front desk is so welcoming and genuine. I would take my parents here. 100% must if staying in...
