Luna's was a really great hostel. Spacious and it felt very safe and secure. Good internet. Really cool modern bar with Happy Hour. Good social hostel but not too loud. Comfortable, clean socialising areas and nice views. Beds were comfortable and private as they had curtains. Very good value with breakfast of pancakes included. Staff were very helpful. Great location-felt...

the hostel is really basic. Not clean but okay. You will meet a lot of people there and the staff is really friendly. The hostel is in casco veijo so that is nice! If you would like to party till 4 and meet a lot of people, go there! If you like it to be clean and not so busy...

This hostel has thought of everything! There is lots of space to hang out, the dorms are nice as they have 'pods' with a light and curtain for each bed, the breakfast wasn't too exciting but can't complain about pancakes! The bathrooms weren't anything special though as there aren't too many on the main floor. The hostel also has a...

Great location in heart of old town. A short walk to fish market, pedestrian walk shopping, and metro. Friendly, inviting atmosphere and staff. Receptionists, especially Dalia and Vladi, super patient and helpful in helping guests get most out of the city. I make a point of staying there anytime im in town. Stay there a few times and youll b...

Attention. We found begwamps in the dorm. It is also smelling and you can find spots on your bed sheets cause of the begwamps! It can also be very loud in the rooms cause of the bars and loud music outside.

I've stayed at Luna's Castle for 4 nights and stayed in an 8 bed room with air con. The air con did not really cooled down the room so I think getting a room with a fan might have been the better choice since it's also a little cheaper. Besides this I have nothing to complain. The room was clean...

Unless you're planning to drink until you pass out, this is not the hostel for you. Noisy, dirty, and uncomfortable - not a place for a traveler who wants a decent night of sleep. To start with, there's the matter of wristbands "for safety," as though adults want to look like Coachella attendees. The front door is always locked; you...

This hostel is all about the shared spaces. Spacious chill areas, laid back atmosphere. Bar underneath the hostel with garden and a neat terrace available both for drinks at night and breakfast in the morning. Positive about this aspect. Travelling as a couple, we stayed in a private room for 34 USD. The rooms are very basic, have no windows,...

Great for backpackers who want to party so a bit noisy, bring earplugs!! Free banana breakfast was very welcoming. Staff is friendly but organized a cab to the national airport which was a nice gesture but cost a ridiculous 10 dollars (simply don't ever trust a taxi in the city, get uber or negotiate before going in). Location is great!

Hi Remco! Glad you enjoyed your stay at Luna's Castle. We have plenty more pancakes for you if you make it back to the city. We're happy to help guests with taxis - we receive zero commission for calling a cab for the national airport - and the standard price in Panama is $10. Of course, it is possible to...

Following Captain Morgan’s plunder of Panama Vieja in 1671, stones from the ruins were used to construct the massive walls of Casco Viejo.
