Rooms and buildings are quaint but Manfred ( our German host)made our stay in Managua easy and safe. Breakfasts are very good. Location is in close walking distance to restaurants. Ability to converse in English and helpfulness with local information, organising of transport ,(sometimes taxi or sometimes with hotel vehicles,) and baggage storage was key for us.

The hotel is clean and the staff is lovely. The hotel is well placed as it is in a safe neighborhood, at walking distance of Zona Hippos. Despite a missing "cozy ambiance" the hotel was more than satisfying and I would recommenced it to stay a few nights in the capital.

They picked me up at the hotel and brought me to the bus station the next day. The room was nice, the porter even showed me the English channel on tv. Breakfast was provided on the terrace in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had an incredibly wonderful time staying at this hotel. As a result, we cannot wait to return next year for another stay! Manfred and his staff are sincerely hospitable and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, like a part of their family. We loved our immaculately cleaned AC room, comfy bed,...

This is great little gem. Manfred the keeper of the place was awesome, super hospitable and the staff is very accommodating. Rooms are about what you would expect at a $80 to $100 place back home, the establishment is walking distance to fun bars and restaurants, but located in a residential area itself. Would stay again next time in Managua,...

Stayed here for beginning and then again at the end of our family's trip to Nicaragua. Expectations exceeded would be an understatement. The staff from top to bottom were absolutely first rate and always warm and welcoming. The ever gracious owner, Manfred, helped us out with transportation and logistics as well advice on what to see and do to get...

What a unique place to stay! Easy access to the airport and downtown Managua, but more importantly - staffed with the nicest people, who provide an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. Manfred goes above and beyond to welcome guests like friends, from breakfast whenever you want to travel advice and good stories. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, there's wifi and...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights prior to heading to Little Corn Island. The airport transfer was a bit pricey, but it was very convenient, and they were right on time, so I don't mind paying a little extra. Rooms were clean and reasonably-sized. Free wifi was great. The breakfast every morning was delicious and very filling...

Excellent spot. Manfred is very accommodating and has all kinds of great ideas for excursions. He'll let you know what to expect for cab fares and other costs. If you need something, he'll try and find it. We'd stay here again. Don't expect the Ritz, but dollar for dollar, it's well worth staying here.

Great place to stay in Managua. Hotel staff were tremendously helpful with booking other places & transportation, leaving our bags for a week when we visited the Corn Islands, and general travel tips. Rooms are charming, but the owner and staff are what really makes it. My girlfriend and I ended up coming through the city several times, and stayed...
