I stayed at Hotel Villa Real last week for 5 nights, small room but cozy and clean, the staff were great, they had next day laundry service and did a great job, next time I'm in town I will stay here again, great price.

After staying here a number of times through the years, it is always clean, comfortable, secure and safe and the owner is a real Gem. The staff if always prompt and courteous. The rooms are cozy and comfy. Have never had one item go missing, which says volumes. Will continue to use.

I stayed in the Hotel Villa Real in January for 5 nights, and I really enjoyed it. The hotel is small, but its location is fabulous, as it is just few blocks from Metrocentro Mall; however, the most important feature of this hotel is that its employees are honest, hardworking, and friendly people, who are always ready to assist you.... Stayed here for 7 nights with a group. The room we had #26 had a twin and double bed, desk, night stand, and wardrobe. There is a/c and a fan along with a tv. Although I didn't watch the tv. The wifi can be spotty particularly guessing the more folks using it. But I was able to facetime with some... More

I stayed last weekend. The hotel is very rustic. The staff is friendly and very nice. Beds were ok. The bathroom was clean enough. Breakfasts were great, even though they have a breakfast menu they gave us just one choice during the mornings, so they tell you: "Today we have...". Not sure if it was due to the season though.... I traveled with a group last month, and we stayed at Hotel Villa Real for 7 nights. The owner and staff we welcoming, friendly and very accommodating! Purified water and coffee were available all day, the in-room air conditioning was wonderful after a steamy day outside, and in the mornings and evenings, the open air ground-level and roof-top patio areas... The room was incredibly small. Hardly enough space for two people. Had to live out of the suitcase. So old the plugs in the wall were not grounded, so no way to plug in a computer. The staff was nice, but when it rained the outside floor was so wet I nearly fell from water on the tile. My friend... More

This place is a solid little family hotel in central San Salvador. there are plants everywhere and the interior patio with tables and chairs, free purified drinking water and coffee all day long and the moderate room price includes a hearty breakfast. there is wifi in the rooms and a couple of computers in the lobby. The mattresses are new... More

I spent 11 nights at this hotel late January to early February 2014. It was clean, comfortable and as other have said, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you want silence, go to the Sheraton for over $200 a night. Most small hotels in Mexico and Central America have thin walls and an open patio area where voices... More

I stayed here last week with a small group. This is a small, comfortable hotel, with several gathering spaces for groups to meet or socialize. For North Americans like me, it is not the fluffy pillows and room service you might be used to, but there are hot showers and free wifi, and it is a good value overall. The... More
