My children and I stayed at this hotel, which offered good service, a nice outdoor pool, decent breakfast and quiet rooms. Unfortunately, our last day coincided with the hotel's (previously unannounced) last day in operation. Unfriendly men in big black cars had taken up position in the hotel courtyard and were collecting all the electronics in the hotel as we...

A group of us stayed four nights at this hotel and were very pleased. The rooms are massive and very showy. I had room 103 which looked like something out of Hollywood and had a gigantic terrace. It would have been good to have some balcony furniture but I think they had not put anything out because of the heavy...

Aside from a very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are large and comfortable. While not right in the center of the action, a short walk to a routiera will take you right to Stefan cel Mare Blvd. The hotel is located in a wealthy, quiet neighborhood and adjacent to a beautiful park which is perfect for afternoon walks. If...

Great value hotel. We took a suite with two large bedrooms, great TV with a load of stations, a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Downstairs, an indoor "private" pool (an appointment is necessary) with saunas, in the winter. Service first-rate. Best free breakfast I've experienced in years. A gorgeous, near-by park. While 20 minutes by foot from downtown, inexpensive taxis make...

Newly built smaller hotel with huge rooms. I had a room, which was so big, that it looked more like an appartment - entry hall with wardrobe, two large armchairs and coffee table, then in room itself you find a work table with chair, TV and large bed. In the bathroom I had a computer controled jacuzzi for two. The...

Three whole weeks staying in this kind of homely hotel was good, they have a nice service , clean and peaceful room, it was really enjoyable. the site of the place is very accommodating to the places where you want to go and one of the least, is the park that maybe 50 meters away from the hotel..kinda like it.

We were there in the shoulder season and got a really good rate. This place is UPTOWN (as in first class). Watch the extras, however. We sent out a modest amount of laundry and ended up paying as much as a nights lodging. The location is excellent -- nested amongst embassies. A ten minute walk puts you at a bus...

Stayed at this hotel twice for business, and in both stays the experience was good. Located dead in the middle of Chisinau, all major sites are a short commute away. The neighborhood is a private residence area (for better or worst multiple sites are heavily guarded with towers cameras and armed guards), and the Budapest seems like an evolution of...

Considering some ropey hotels I've visited in the region, the Budapest was a class above. Large room with aircon and enough space to swing several cats. Nice pool, cracking breakfast with cereals, fresh veg and cheese, juices and warm menu options. Nice walk past a lake to the centre - probably 15mins until you're near the centre, but a very...
