This was a pleasant hotel - nice staff, good rooms, value for money and good locatio in the city. Was here twice in two different rooms and both were very good and with space. The room have a desk for work and internet was no problem.

The Mon Ami Villa is very clean with the best staff. The manager Eugeniu was very helpful and spoke perfect English. Lovely breakfast buffet and wifi throughout. Also, the location was right in the heart of the old town area and within walking distance to everything.

Our experience at Mon Ami Villa was a very pleasant and comfortable one. Staff are friendly and chatty at reception; the added benefit of Mon Ami Villa is their twenty-four hour front desk which made things easier when accessing the premises after midnight. The twin room - 305 - had two delightfully firm mattresses (own preference), wall-mounted television, desk, safe, large bottle of water, minibar and walk-in rainfall style shower. Beside the expected levels of traffic in the mornings, there was little to no noise. We weren’t disturbed nor had any issues with the facilities available to us. This review may well have touched five star if the breakfast had been just that little better. Whilst there is an array of fruits, cereals, meats and cheeses, biscuits and a solid coffee machine, the hot foods weren’t overly impressive. If there were more variety in terms of cooked breakfast options, it would’ve have made the two mornings we had at Mon Ami Villa extremely pleasurable. Despite this, we enjoyed our visit and would recommend their property to other travellers. It is a five-minute walk from the main, busy high street and a fifteen-minute jaunt to, say, the Arc or Central Park. My companion and I were struggling badly with a couple of vital details. The wonderful staff here sorted this out in a friendly, helpful and speedy manner. In addition the location is handy, being only 6 minutes from the highly recommended Smokehouse Restaurant and Craft Beer Bar. Rooms are splendid and the prices most reasonable. A must if you are looking for a hotel in Chisinau.
