Ok , I often read reviews where people got charged and think they probably didn't follow the cancelation policy exactly. We did but the Hotel still charged us and they flatly refused to refund the full charge they made despite several attempts to point out the black and whiteness of how we followed their policy to the letter. I am...

Dear N_bucks99, Thank you for taking the time to post your impression. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for the problems you encountered with the room cancellation. I have taken a deep investigation and I must say that there was a few wrong steps from our side. We will contact you to your private e-mail address to arrange...

Welcomed at entrance by porter, declined help, but still shown to Reception. Also greeted with warm smile, got all info on free wireless internet (as on business, great), included breakfast, free fitness and sauna (new, but used only gym).. As upgraded to Superior room, with good signal - great.. Iron and board delivered within minutes - lady was also very...

The Hotel is clean and the rooms spacious enough. The staff were helpful if a little abrupt - but this could be down to local ways. Its about a 15 min walk to the City centre that is full of interesting architecture, and so many on street places to eat and drink - all at good prices. To enjoy the...

This hotel with a 1980's feel to it is fairly average in my opinion. The location is not very ideal either, quite close to the city center, but beyond an easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet was bland and unimpressive. Staff friendliness could also be improved. I would say a step down from the hospitality of the Croatian coast. Given...

Dear Josteuno , I would like to thank you very much for taking your time to bring your dissatisfaction in regards to your recent stay with us to our attention. Hotel is 15-20 min easy walk to the city centre what gives a great opportunity to our guests to see beautiful areas on the way. I will share your feedback...

Stay at any number of hotels closer to the centre. Prices far higher than the palace hotel 15ins closer to centre and far far better service and decor. Love the Croatian people but this place and it's service and policies does not compare to other hotels in zagreb.

InternationalZagreb, Director of Sales at Hotel International, responded to this review

Dear Luke B, Thank you for taking the time to post your impression. Very are sorry to hear that we disappointed. Hotel International is completely renovated in 2007 and it's a part of a modern business complex so it is hard to compare the decor with the Hotel Palace, located in a palace built in the early twentieth century. I...

Located in the business district , not properly kept, seems always dirty, rooms are fair, food low quality, most of the time cold. Staff nonchalant as if they do not care about their clientele . Not recommended to stay there

I was twice there and no more. The first stay was ok , but it has changed: terrible breakfast , smell of cigarettes in rooms , very very slow service , check in lasts more than 30 minutes. There was loudly sounds from coridors in my room, you can hear everything even closing next door. I didn't sleep well ....

This hotel is good for bussines trip. It is convenient located in an industrial part of Zagreb, two tram stops from the bus and train main station. There are a lot of banks, corporation offices etc. around. The tram stop is directly near hotel. After a few stops you are in a city centre. My room was very clean, bed...

Very convenient hotel not far from Zagreb old city. Staff polite and helpful. We had two rooms- a double room which was fine and a triple room which smelled heavily of cigarette. There was also cigarette smell in the hallways! Breakfast was decent and the parking is connected directly to the hotel. All in all a nice stay-but for the...

Excellent room with plenty of space and joy of joys, a good sized bath. Spacious modern hotel which means what you see is what you get and everything works. Free wi-fi, easy walking access to the city and the myriad restaurants there. Rather paltry buffet breakfast with over stewed coffee and bus tour table layout. Helpful staff and good parking...
