Very good place. First of all-location is perfect, very close to EVERYTHING. I stayed in one room-it is little bit small, but clean enough, with small but also clean enough bathroom. Everything else was okey.
After a tiring bus journey from Dubrovnik, I traveled to Main Square on tram number 6 to reach this hostel/ guest house. Located at most convenient place,a walk of few minutes from Main Square and ideal in visiting Dolac market, all the museums, shops, cafes and fast food joints. I reached the place at 11.15am and could not get the room as check in time was 1 pm, I wish the management could provide early check in as I informed in advance about my arrival time. However I have no complaint as it's an hostel type accomodation and rooms may not be vacant at that point of time. There is WiFi but no breakfast. Good for short stay at reasonable prices. There is restaurant also of the same name.
After we arrived by plane at the airport of Zagreb, we took an Uber (just 95kn) to the city center and then we walked for just 3 min to Nokturno, as it is not accessible by car. In order to check in we had to enter the Nokturno restaurant which feels a bit weird. However, when the hostess showed us the room, it was all nice: AC, good shower and room size was ok. Especially the location is great since the popular tkalcica is around the corner and so is the Dolac market. All in all a very nice stay and good price/quality.
Very nice, clean and cheap apartment in the heart of the city. In their restaurant there is a varied selection of food, for the price you get, the food is tasty. Added value are the waiters who are excellent-very friendly and quick.
Both myself and my wife stayed here during December for 3 nights so we could enjoy the Zagreb Advent. I have to make it clear that the hotels new policy for the month of December is a concern. We received an email asking for pre-payment for the room to be paid in full at least 3 days before we arrived. 2 things are wrong with this, firstly I would never send a bank transfer payment from just an email! So I had to make an international call at my expense to check this was correct. I paid around 3 weeks before we travelled but had to make many calls to the hotel to get confirmation they had received the payment. In total my call costs were around £8 which is money I didn’t expect to have to spend! Upon arrival we were totally confused as to where to go as the entrance to the rooms is locked and having had no instruction on where to check in we wandered into the restaurant to ask. This is where we met the very hard working Vera. She is the most friendly and helpful person I think I’ve ever met and has a tough time explaining the new payment procedure to guests in December! We were shown to our room, very nice, clean, modern and an adequate size for two adults. It was warm and had a great comfy bed and shower. My only criticism here is the small towels! That is one thing that needs addressing. The location is perfect, Zagreb in Advent is nothing short of spectacular, and for the price was very good. I am rating as average purely due to the prepayment issues and confusing lack of reception. …
