Great hotel, fantastic restaurant. The service is amazing. If you want a great place to stay, this is it. Really the minute you enter everyone takes care of you. If you eat there the restaurant is the best in the city. Without a doubt a true jem.

Boyana is not far away from the center of Sofia. Casa boyana is a great value for money selection business hotel in the most luxury area 20' from the center. You need taxi for transportation but is pretty cheap Clean Classic boutique hotel and I suggest it for sure. It has also a good restaurant inside

We did not visit the hotel- only the restaurant of Casa Boyana. The ambiance in the restaurant is just amazing, great views and excellent location. However, we were disappointed with the lamb we ordered since was not so good and the rabbit we had was too salty. The service was nice, staff friendly.

This hotel is expensive by local standards and well appointed however, there are some issues that make it not an ideal choice. The main one for us was the smoking policy. Even though Bulgaria has smoke free legislation, smoking is freely allowed in the hotel - including the restaurant. When this was raised with management, they just shrugged their shoulders...

I was invited to join some friends at this restaurant and was amazed by the moment i entered. The staff were professional, IPADS as menus with a wide range of dishes for all tastes. I went for spring rolls, pork in red wine and mojito dessert. All was mouth watering and waiter advised on a Bulgarian white wine which completed...

Really good food at this hotel in their restaurant. Was not sure what to expect but very happy with the result. Great food, good wine selection as well as many beer options. If in the area this is a very very good choice.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our Locals' Tip: Escape from all the noise and crowds of the big hotel chains and enjoy the discreet elegance of Casa Boyana.Casa Boyana lies in the beautiful and peaceful Boyana Residential Area on the outskirts of Sofia, and at the very foot of the magnificent Vitosha Mountain. This luxury, four-star, boutique hotel offers some amazing views of the Bulgarian capital, while being just a quarter-of-an-hour ride away from the city centre and twenty or so minutes away from the Sofia Airport. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention, it is also located within walking distance of the National Museum of History and the Boyana Church - one of the most popular UNESCO-protected sites in the country. The façade of the hotel mixes classical architectural elements such as massive stone pillars and balustrades perfectly with it's modern features, such as the large windows of the hotel's restaurant on the second floor. The interior design is classy and elegant, with a special focus on fine boiseries and comfortable leather furniture. All fourteen rooms, and two apartments, of Casa Boyana are exquisitely decorated and boast a whole bunch of amenities, including huge plasma screen TVs, gigantic beds and wonderful views of the city and the mountain. The tranquil atmosphere and fresh mountain air will not only help you relax but will give you a good appetite as well. This is precisely the reason why you have to check out therestaurant at Casa Boyana. ... more   less
