Chateau Copsa a small boutique hotel attached to a wine estate. Only half a dozen bedrooms. Stayed for 1 night with some friends. Each individually styled and very comfortable. We did the gastronomic menu with wine pairings. Only downside for a non-Bulgarian speaker was the language barrier and this was most evident at breakfast. However, I would not hesitate to...

A really nicely decorated and well kept hotel and restaurant. The major downside was that the bed in room 202 as extremely uncomfortable. Prices in the restaurant are twice what you would expect for the food they offer. Food is delicious but not worth the money you spend. We paid an average of 20 leva per bottle of wine and...

Nice place, nice rooms, good wine.. not so good kitchen and very expensive food. The menu is very average and they don't even offer wine/tasting options. The rooms in the cheatau are very nice, I cannot say what's the situation with the ones outside next to the pool.

I said there were views of the mountains, there were, in the distance, ours were behind overflowing trash bins were rats seemed to visit frequently. Our reception was cool...

Was treated to an evening at the Chateau along with dinner and wine tasting. This is an outstanding venue with great service people and host. The dinner was outstanding and included wine pairings from their on site cellar. Highly recommended for an evening or weekend getaway!

The owner put a heart into this. It's really amazing, especially the spring view. All rooms are decorated in a unique way. The restaurant looks also great. To find it: you need to turn left just after the village of Anevo, when going West (to Sofia) and then follow the signs. Take a room with a Southern view. The restaurant...

I took my family for a celebration dinner at Chateau Copsa at the end of December 2011. The food was really great. Wine and brandy are all from the chateau's prodution. The hotel facilites, which we were given a tour of, look great. It is listed under Sofia, but is 120 km east of it, in the Bulgarian Rose Valley...
