I love the location of the guest-house and the stuff is very welcoming and helpful. As a guide I was treated really fair and it convinced me to choose that place in future. I recommend that place to all kind of travellers!

I gave them one day's notice to pick me up from the airport and the hotel's staff picked me up and brought to the hotel without any problems. The rooms are spacious. I had a shared bathroom. It was one of the biggest bathrooms I have stepped in while traveling - it was clean and smelled nice, too! The staff...

The exterior does not tell us what is inside because the outside scares and the interior is cozy. And that warm air begins with who gets us. The staff is very nice indeed, especially Hajra, a sweet, always with a smile and concerned about our well being. It is she who prepares carefully the breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean...

Don't be fooled by the seemingly dilapidated exterior. I arrived in Sarajevo late in the night, and was a bit apprehensive when I first approached the guesthouse. However, everything changes when you enter the facility. The hostel, whilst not extensively decorated, was cosy and comfortable. Location is fantastic, being just beside the Markale which was unfortunately and famously shelled during...

Really a very good hostel. I stayed in a private room with shared bathroom, all very clean. It also features a very decent kitchen and loungle area. Location is perfect, within walking distance of all the main sites, and close to public transport stops. The staff is helpful and friendly and even offers tours of the surrounding area of Sarajevo,...

My boyfriend and i stayed in the central building. The room was small but functional. The location is perfect, walking distance from everything. Our host was amazing, funny and helpful. She recommended a lot of local restaurants and tours. We met some wonderful people because we would always hang by the common area. I would definitely recommend it.

Stayed at Markale Guesthouse for two nights and was impressed by the facilities available. Room was very comfortable, a communal kitchen/living area was clean and had plenty of space and everything you needed for eating in. There was even a washing machine. The staff were all very helpful (collection from airport, advice on public transport/attractions/restaurants was all provided). This is...

This was our 1st experience in a hostel & we were very pleased. Clean with a lovely new en-suite, it was very good value. Our room was off the kitchen which I was worried about but it was quiet, with other guests being considerate. Staff helpful at all times. If this is hostel living its great!
