Family-run hotel. Large room, good storage (wardobes etc), en-suite. Swimming pool of reasonable size. Continental breakfast (but no croissants!). Water cooler, tea & coffee always available. Dinner is available (if booked earlier in the day), which means eating with the family. A daughter of the family, Vee-anna, (she does not live on the premises but comes at least once a...

Was booked when we were looking for space at beginning of trip. Managed last night there because Aranui sailed that morning, so they had rooms. Vaiana, the owner, has been in the travel agency business for a good while. They have different types of rooms, some with ac, some not, some rooms for lots of folks, etc. We needed ac...

As other people have noted, we were a bit shocked upon arrival. We had Room #1 (on the main level) with 3 beds. It was suitable as a "day room" to rest, shower and change clothes before the late night Air Tahiti Nui flight back to the USA. The a/c and Wi-Fi worked well in our room. The owner /...

There is truly nothing great about that place. It was enough to stay for a night to catch the ferry in the morning. The breakfast was really basic and the fruits didn’t look good after all. The room was basic. The bathroom’s ceiling was all over with mold. In the morning a bird was waking us up, since he somehow...

Stayed here a couple of days. The room was good size, balcony, big toilet/shower, old A/C. Breakfast was the best we've had in Polynesia, but nothing compared to Europe standards. Wifi in common areas. The location is a little walk away from City and harbour. (10-15min) It's located in the end of a relatively dark street. The pool area was...

It was easy to get to the Ahitea from the airport however we arrived at night and everyone was sleeping and we had to sleep on the couch until morning. Communication was limited for English speakers. There was one woman that spoke English that was around during the day. This property is a guest house with more of a hostel...

We stayed 2 nights in ahitea lodge. Compared to other hotels in (with varied assessments) you get good value for money. The bed in our basic room (4) was hard and a bit small and the fan could hardly change the heat at night. The bathroom is basic but clean. Breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruits and homemade...

Stayed 4 days, reasonable price and comfortable accommodation, Family run B&B. Staff were helpful: use of fridge and some kitchen facilities to make other meals. Breakfast typical continental, fresh fruit. Pool well maintained and essential as January is HOT. 15 minute walk to town center, some stores for food nearby. Food is expensive in Tahiti.
