The owner, Jean Claude, picked us up at the airport and it was a scenic 1-hour drive to Taiohae, with lots of commentary - all in French, of course, as no one there (or just about anywhere else in the Marquesas) speaks English - lucky...More

Jean Claude is amazing just as everything is perfect in the pension. It is centraly located and Jean Claude's breakfast is excellent. Check out the pétanque tournaments sunday night by the pension, Jean Claude is a true champion. Highly recommend
