A paradise experience for lovers of bedbugs. A stretcher was put out with only a sheet to cover the mattress, but no cover for the person laying in it. Repeated calls to reception got us an extra blanket. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The bedbugs were an issue for us.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and the standard room I stayed in is quite clean. The aircondition was problematic at first and the staff were very prompt to assist. Friendly reception and working staff including the catering staff. Parking your rental car can be competitive with other guests as parking lots are limited. Security staff were very helpful too to... Th hotel is a little way out of the CBD (probably a good thing). It is due for a good renovation, and it seems that may have started, but the building work did not interfere with our stay. The rooms are small and the bed was OK. The TV was good, especially if you like Bollywood! Shower was hot and... More

Ordinary hotel - only stayed here because others were full for rugby match. Appreciated the early check in. facilities ok. rooms open onto open courtyard. unfortunately noisy guests both late at night and early in the morning. not the hotel's fault, but should be aware that if you're a light sleeper, you run the risk of being kept up by... This place and I are just meant to be! It smells so refreshing from the reception to the room. This hotel is clean as! The elevator is the tiniest ever and there's staircases available almost everywhere so in case of emergency evacuation you're not stuck. Give me a wonderful thoughts that this place is well kept and managed. Keep it... More

The accommodation is average, I was in a shared room on the 4th floor. Gave up on the lift, which is tiny and walked the stairs. Basic room with some now being refurbished. Pillow was lumpy and low but no additional in the cupboard to try improve it. Shower heads vary room to room from what we found. Good pressure... More

The service at the Peninsula Hotel was a joke. The condition of the room was old, poorly maintained and unclean. To top it of, the cost of the room/night, telephone charges, "free" complimentary breakfast and the constant noise outside was simply pathetic. I recommend all visitors to Suva to avoid this hotel like the plague. Giving it a zero star.... More

Stayed twice in the recent passed and it less than an average type of hotel in the capital of Fiji. They should improve on arresting noise from outside, keeping a working table in the standard rooms. Improve the breakfast system by having properly arranged tables and clean the used items quickly.
