I have nothing but superlatives to describe my stay here. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The beach was amazing as well as the lagoon in front of the property. The accomodations were great but above all, the staff were the stars of the show as they were exceedingly nice, hospitable, welcoming and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and I would like to say Vinaka Vakalevu to the Tambua Sands crew for making me feel right at home.

No Internet or TV, can get reception in main dinning room/ Bar/ reception. Tambua has tourist information desk, table tennis, pool table, Sm. Library. Canoes, snorkeling equipment & Pool. This is our 2nd stay at Tambua, very quiet & relaxing. Local bus caught to Sigatoka markets 30 klms away, Staff very welcoming. LOVE this place. Had our 16 yr,14yr, & 9 yr old G'children who also loved the place. CASHLESS resort.

Fantastic place and the amazing people that work here made it a dream holiday for our family. They organised games and activities for our children to help keep them entertained and to give Mum and Dad a break. One day my youngest appeared with her hair beautifully braided with flowers all though it that one of the staff had done for her. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable and everything worked well. Lots of planting and renovations happening so this place will just keep getting better and better. After a relaxing stay and being so well taken care of we would love to come back!

Hour and half drive away from Nadi airport, this resort is heaven for anyone looking for total relaxation. My partner and I are always busy at work and were hoping to a long deserved vacation and this resort is the place to be. The resort is well kept, clean and the staffs remembered our names. Always happy and smiling. Everywhere you hear Bula, Bula. Try the baked fish, it is super yummm. Dont need your watch, just wake up and sleep watching the stunning ocean and sunset. Simple yet what all we were looking for. We surely return to our Fiji home.

Great location and association with local village who provide the lovely staff. Food service patchy at times. Taxi driver advised us to get water and beer on the way to avoid hotel rates. Good advice. Pool wonderful. Rocky beach loads of seaside.

Had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. One of the best part of my holiday in Fiji.
The resort is remote, which I loved so If you are staying for a couple of days or more make sure you stop at the supermarket on the way to stock up on water, alcohol and snacks.

I want to go back! That's how much we loved the resort and the staff of the Tambua Sands Beach Resort. My friend and I had two comfortable adjoining rooms in a duplex that was 30 yards from the ocean. The grounds are perfectly manicured, but it was the hospitality of the entire staff that made us feel like we were family. When we drove it, "Welcome Kathy. Welcome Leslie. Bua Bua!!" Everyone knew our names. We went for four days, but wished it was more. Eat, drink, swim, wander, relax, sleep. Repeat! I was a vacation that I will never forget.

This was of the cheaper places we looked at and we weren’t expecting much, but it really was an absolute delight! The location is out of this world and the accommodation was on the basic side, but clean and cared for and the beds were very comfortable. The food was variable - nothing bad - one particular meal (wahu fillet with miti sauce and cassava was mind-blowingly good) others were just decent. The staff could not have been more helpful and lovely. This was what really made our time there so fantastic.

Am so reluctant to write this review because I want to keep this place to myself. Have just had a wonderful 5 nights stay here. We had an ocean front bure with a lap pool. Was absolutely beautiful. Hardly anyone at the resort. Just so serene . S taff amazingly friendly and could not do enough for us. Food was great. Nothing fancy but high class and fresh. Loved the chicken curry. There are extensive renovations going on and only 10 bures are currently usable but it did not detract from how they have improved the resort. I used to stay there over 30 years ago with my parents and it was pretty basic. Can't say enough good things about the accommodation food drinks and staff. We had a car so we did tour a bit. Bavari souvenirs walking distance and they do also do light meals. Maui Bay 5mins drive away has a supermarket with essentials and I didn't think any dearer than Nadi. If you want laid on activities this is not the place for you. If you just want to relax it is just right. No tv and only wifi in reception area. We were more than happy with that. Will soon be adults only as well.

Yes forsure! While we were there, there was this desk called rosie tours, that had all this awesome things and places to go. You can always google them. I think its called rosietoursfiji.
There are more places to choose from in the Sigatoka area.
