Fantastic service and friendly staff. The bure/room was nice and good WiFi in the room and around. Our room (ocean view) was close, to the Beach. Clean and green aera with lots of palms, lot of space and two really nice pools. Excellent. Breakfast was OK, outside with ocean view. The food was good and they had special meals every night beside the menu. The beaches in Nadi are not white, otherwise it was OK. Daily free snorkeling trips (except Tuesday) and canoes. We sure want to see this place again.
I could make this a long review, maybe later. The short is that the folks and management make the place, Les & Deb and their team 45 I believe, made our experience relaxing, congenial and we made quite a few new friends. (Bula & Ha kuna Matata) The accommodation might not adequate for most, but for us who had a hectic 2 weeks in NZ jet boats, hiking , swimming with dolphins, more hiking, 2800km on South Island. This is exactly what we needed. Free snorkel tours at club Fiji, and if it is not in the list they try make a plan to accommodate. We even went to regional sevens rugby games. So in short we’ll worth it. If you want pristine white beaches, room service, etc this might not be for you. But if you want to relax enjoy the views meet people visit other locations by boat or taxi and return for sundowners and a good meal - I recommend it …
Club Fiji, while rustic, was a very comfortable place to spend a few carefree days. The managers, Les and Debra, were very hospitable and ready to help with any on site and local requirements. The staff was friendly and courteous. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the friendly bar readily available. One of the highlights was a free snorkeling boat trip to a nearby reef with Abdul - an excellent boatman and guide (most worthy of a donation tip). He was environmentally conscious and made sure everyone was comfortable from novice to old diving hands.
We booked for one night and stayed for 6 as it ticked all the boxes for a relaxing Fiji holiday. It was the perfect resort! Palm trees, sandy beach to walk on, two pools, wonderful hammocks under coconut trees that were regularly trimmed with visitors getting free coconut milk most days - perfect in a pina colada, lounges on the beach, great bar, fabulous staff, who were very friendly and fun, good chef, good food, and a beautiful location. Waking up each morning to the sound of birds while looking up into a pretty mosquito net is very romantic - although at first a tad early, affordable beach side massage, definitely not 5 star but that was a large part of its charm. We met great people and made new friends largely due to the manager Les and Deb creating an atmosphere where people felt comfortable to talk to others. The free snorkel trip to the reef is fabulous - better coral than what we saw on the paid day out and the captain made us feel safe at all times as well as Club Fiji is child friendly and for us child free guests we could enjoy seeing the families being able to relax as well as us having the space to not be bothered by them. It is a weird but beautiful location, off the main road and down a pretty rough track only 15 minutes from the airport. Apart from the occasional plane it's very quiet without the sound of cars or noisy roads The bures were really fun and comfortable although quite old. Our beach front one was perfect for sitting on the balcony and completely relaxing over a drink at sunset. Close to Nadi but it feels like you’re miles away from everyone. It was truly relaxing and I highly recommend it to anyone going to Fiji as an affordable and wonderful place to stay.…
We really enjoyed out stay at Club Fiji. The staff was kind, welcoming and responsive. Service was great. The resort vibe is laid back and reflects Fijian hospitality and friendliness. They go out of their way to make guests comfortable and get a feel for Fijian culture. We would highly recommend Club Fiji to anyone who wants to escape the typical “tropical resort” bubble.
