Detailed Reviews
First impression Wasn’t that great. We arrived around 19.00 on a Monday, it was a birthday party right down by the restaurant/bar. Music was quite loud.
Second day felt much better. We met the staff and they gave us a warm and pleasant welcome! Everyone was so good and anything you ever needed, they did it for you!
Throughout the whole week the staff was super good and the music wasn’t too loud at night. We loved the hospitality.
When the weekend came around the music got loud again, Friday night till around midnight but Saturday I don’t know, had a little trouble sleeping, since it was our last night and we had to get up early this was a bit annoying…
The beds were alright, a bit hard but nothing too good nor too bad. Pillows for my taste were a bit to big, as I prefer flat ones. Shower the pressure is kind of wack, don’t expect anything good, but then again the room itself is of good size.
Ps: I really missed some sunbeds down by the beach
All in all you get what you pay for, except the hospitality, that one you get was more than you pay for!
Vinaka :-)

Room Tip: Music might be loud on the evenings so maybe not the best place to bring kids for vacation.

The view is to die for! There is no doubt you will catch some of the best sunsets Fiji has to offer at Sailors especially if you book the ocean-view rooms.
I was just disappointed that we were not given a bathmat upon check-in even though we had to wait a little bit because our room was not ready. This was my second time at Sailors and both times we requested for the bath mat, I am hoping this is something they will look into.
Customer service is absolutely delightful and the ladies were always happy to assist wherever possible.
All in all, Sailors is a must do in Wailoaloa and I cannot wait to go back!

Cute little property by the shore. They have their own restaurant, that make decent grub. You also have options with the Wailoaloa Beach Club nearby, Vasaqa Productions and Grace Kitchen for places to eat. The Beach Club is just stone's throw away and is good place to hang out on Thursdays - Sat. Places around here usually close around 12pm. Rooms are clean with basic amenities, cutest coffee shop on property, a pool, restaurant and bar and friendly staff. Best of all, affordable. You can also view the best sunsets on the property.

We spent one night in a ocean view room. The view from the room was excellent. The staff were friendly. Thats where it stops. The room was so small you literally couldn't swing a cat. The door to the balcony had a smashed window. The curtains when closed only covered two thirds of the windows. The shower was so weak with very little water coming through. We had the BBQ lamb for dinner...more bone than meat. Never again!

Booked a room with a view at Sailors Beach. The room was filthy, there were cockroaches inside the bathroom and also in the room. There were no toilet papers, we had to use the toilet paper which was already in used by the previous stayers and that’s discussing.. There was no towels and it took them 4 hours to bring the towels after requesting it. The bed sheets were dusty and dirty. There was nothing in the fridge. The whole experience was a disappointment. I wouldn’t advise anyone to waste their money on such places. Filthy and disgusting! We are going through a pandemic and such places is a red flag 🚩

Modest, functional rooms. I wish I knew there is no wifi in rooms. Wifi is only available downstairs in the coffee shop for one hour per day. After spending time on smaller hours I really missed whatsapp and my own entertainment.
No tv in rooms.
The rooms are an *lot* smaller than then the pictures. Its not an dealbreaker but be aware that the rooms with balconies have no space to put your suitcase so it has to sit in the floor blocking the door or jammed next to the bed and blocking the toilet or the balcony door.
Finally, the hotel plays its own very loud music and the hotel next door plays its own very loud music. So when you are sitting at the bar/restaurant you experience the most extraordinary cacophony of clashing music, at volume. It’s actually mind bending, I dont know how the staff tolerated it.

We spent - luckily only - two nights at Sailor's Beach, as we were in transit. The room with a balcony and sea view is quite small if you both have a suitcase and a backpack with you. The furniture is cheap, the lighting is not glaring, the bathroom has no shelves, the bed was saggy. The air conditioning, refrigerator and shower worked well. You can hear the air conditioning in the neighboring rooms. Overall, it is very thinly soundproof. The room, bathroom and the entire hallway area were dirty. There was hair in the bed and shower that definitely couldn't have been ours.
The breakfast was delicious and cheap. The dinner and drinks were also great.
We arrived on Saturday evening. A nice live band played until 10 p.m., after which we went to our room. But that's when the party really started. You are bombarded with loud music from your own bar and the neighboring bar. The party people had a good and loud time until it was light the next day. With earplugs, that was no problem.
If you know the South Seas, you will be disappointed, and if you don't know the South Seas and have high expectations, you will be disappointed too. If you just want to party and don't care about the atmosphere, you'll have a great time here.
The staff were all very, very nice, friendly and helpful. That's the only really nice thing about this place.

The room was ok, but there was no hot water. Apparently, according to the receptionist, the hot water runs solely on solar power, which is inexcusable for an accommodation on the main land. When I complained about having no hot water to the receptionist, she had the nerve to claim the water was hotter than the ones in the cold faucet, as if that make the water showerable. For almost USD100 a night, that’s unacceptable.

The staff is amazing, good food and good vibe. Rooms are neat and clean with good views, especially the ones with sea views. You can drink there a good coffee and kava. Feel safe and more quiet than the hotels nearby. It gets quiet after 10 pm and security is always there

+1
The rooms are clean with a lovely view of the beach. No tv or internet available in the room. This was not stated when i was booking. The room is only cleaned every 3 days. The staff are very friendly and position was good with other restaurants close. The bounty bar out the front is fun but even there was limited tv. Also breakfast restaurant and bar have no wifi. Only wifi is in a Cafe which is never used.
