Nice hostel. Flexible and helpful staff ! Enjoyed my stay and it’s good value. Overall thank you. Reasonable pricing although surfing in Fiji it’s is expensive - and not the resorts fault but the guys on the boat throw the boards around. I will go back. Food ordinary.
I’ve been contacting them for 2 months now attempting to get a refund for the deposit I placed. Obviously nobody expected COVID to happen but it has caused financial strain on all of us and they won’t return my $800 deposit even though it’s been a government mandate that we don’t travel. I’ve contracted the then 12+ and barely get a response with no help at all. Add in the APR on the credit card and they are costing me more with every month they ignore me.
I stayed for four nights as a beginner surfer and had a blast. It was totally fine to come alone, as there are several solo travellers and everyone talks to everyone. Very friendly staff that mingles with the guests and make you feel like you are one of them. Also, they are very helpful. Great vibe with lots of dedicated surfers in the morning, dedication to relaxation during the day and a nice group-hang-out with beer and music during the night. I am a beginner surfer and had a very helpful surflesson with the friendly host himself. Got my longest ride ever and enjoyed the surfing. Surfing for all levels is possible and supported here. I would come back every year with a group of friends if it was not so very far from my home.
I loved this place! Staff is realy friendly and helpful. Pete picked me up at the airport and took me to buy some food at the local market before going to the camp and he showed me the best places to buy food and other stuff. Naina and Sosi are really nice ladies as well, they'll make you feel really comfortable in the place. They cook snacks every afternoon (delicious ones) and they are also aware of people requirements for food, as dinner is not elegible (you have the menu of the night). But you can have a vegan option if you want. I loved the fact that all the people in the camp had dinner together at the same time and that makes it easier for everybody to know each other and make friends. I made a lot! Boat drivers are really experienced, they know the area perfectly and help you when you have any trouble (I lost my board in Cloudbreak and Mike drove me all the way around the reef to pick it up, thanks dude!). The only detail I didn't really liked is that the Internet is really slow, but you can grab a book and go to the hammocks or by the pool and enjoy life without being connected, or chat with the other visitors. Vinaka everybody! Hopefully I'll be back soon!…
I stayed for 8 nights in August and had the best time. The crew are friendly and great. The food is delicious and the proximity to the waves and the airport is perfect. I would recommend the packages, which I overlooked. The big table group dinners are great for reminiscing on the day's sessions too. Vinaka legends. Lewis
