I have never been to the Islander for Breakfast buffet and have heard good things about this place. I decided to check it out to confirm the rumours.

The Islander Hotel is situated close to the airport but you wont be disturbed by the noice from the aircrafts. We had wonderful tuna salad for lunch in beach bar and a nice evening meal in the restaurant. Both are ”beachside”. Reasonable priced and good...More

We stayed 1 night before flying to Atiu. We arrived really late, but were checked-in nicely. The room was clean and functional and with aircn. We had breakfast the next day which was also quite good. Super easy to walk back to airport next morning
We spent only one night here as our flight was 8:50am the next day. It seems like convenient solution however during that night there was a Dance competition in Hula bar and music was loud almost until the midnight.

The Hula Bar on the beach features a live band for only 2-hours from 9.30-11.30pm Monday to Saturday.
Cocktails are served only from the main bar (not the Hula Bar with its half priced standard drinks).
