The hotel grounds are beautiful and tranquil. When we first arrived I had a nap and awoke to the sight of two different kinds of hummingbird flitting just outside my window. Service was excellent and personal. In all cases we felt the staff truly cared about us as unique individuals. My (adult) son was ill with a stomach bug, and...

Unexpected quality of this hiddeb hotel in the "Scared Valley". Very confortable rooms, and fairly priced. We've got for dinner ( also fairly priced) a nice a juicy piece of fish (trout filet). A great place to stay before the experience of Machu Pichu

Wonderful location, service and atmosphere. We ate at the coffee bar in the evening and the service was as excellent as though we were in the dining room. No kettle , tea or coffee in the room. The grounds are spectacular.

The hotel was a lovely old property with amazing courtyard & gardens. The rooms were spacious & comfortable (shower could use an upgrade). The bar & restaurant service was great & so reasonable. The front desk & bell staff were extremely helpful. If you are looking for a local guide to tour the area, ask for Oscar Zuniga. We hired...

Large, clean room. Delicious food and wine served in a converted monetary. Many flowers and trees on the secure grounds and the staff spoke excellent English. The dishes on the dinner menu were local and authentic. The breakfast menu was more conventional, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc.

I stayed two nights at this hotel during my visit to the Sacred Valley. The grounds are beautiful and relatively peaceful (a tour group that checked in late one evening that was terribly loud and obviously confused about their room locations, haha), Aside from the on-site restaurant, there is a little coffee shop and bar available. The food in the...

We really enjoyed this hotel, which is housed in a former monastery and features extensive gardens, its own chapel and, in the summer, humming birds. Rooms were small but comfortably furnished....

Everything was very good. Only "complaints" - no coffee maker in room, no elevators for us oldies at times. Also, one time, the card key would not work, necessitating us to go downstairs again and get it straightened out before climbing back up the stairs.
