My room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. It would have been perfect except for the location in the hotel, right by the restaurant. By the time they cleaned up from dinner they were setting up for breakfast that starts at 4 am making sleep next to impossible. Overall it is a very nice hotel with a wonderful...

I could be biased because I came here as part of a tour group. Everything was nicely taken care of when we arrived via the tour bus. Our bags were already in our rooms when we checked in. The room was large with a sitting area separated from the bedroom. Everything was clean and neat. Hotel seemed to be newly...

On the main road to the train to Machu Picchu, the hotel is fairly large but has a quaint country feel. Rooms are basic but clean and functional. Small bar and a decent restaurant. Comfortable lounge with some reading areas and a pool table near the bar. Staff is helpful and personal and rates are very reasonable.

Dear guest, Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that you have not had a good stay in our hotel. Regarding the pool it should be mentioned that during the raining season the water gets muddy as the pool is outdoors; this is why you found it empty. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We flew into Cusco at 11,000 feet from sea level. The move down to Urubamba at 9000 helped most of us escape any altitude sickness. Hint, drink the coca tea, it really helps. The hotel was fine and breakfasts were full of choices. Our river raft excursion was a floater.

Convenient Hotel on the way to Machu Picchu. Ask for room on backside away from street noise. Had nice room with king size bed. Good place to acclimatize to altitude. And breakfast was pretty good. Beautiful view from courtyard.
