The main reason that we chose this hotel was for the Planetarium and Observatory. Being in the Sacred Valley, it has little light pollution to obstruct the view. Aside from the gorgeous view, David, the Director of the Observatory, was absolutely fantastic. He was helpful, passionate about his job, and puts on a great show. I highly recommend this hotel...

We recently stayed at the Casa Andina Valle Sagrado, arranged by our tour company, Kuoda Tours. What a beautiful selection they made! We were upgraded on arrival to one of their best rooms, although the whole property looked wonderful It's a fair hike to and from the Lobby/Restaurant area , however by the 3rd day, it was getting easier. The...

Casa Andina is actually outside the small village of Yuahara (sp?) between Urubama and Ollantaytambo virtually in the middle of nowhere, but what a special place. Immaculate grounds, spacious and comfortable rooms in a lodge like setting, with a llama and alpaca as lawn mowers! Restaurant was quite good but not exceptional. Alpaca was a little tough but tasty. Don't...

We stayed in this nice hotel located in a big green area with many flowers when visiting Valle Sagrado and Machu Picchu. Spacey rooms for three persons and a big common area. The dinner was ok but rather expensive (only option in the area) and erratic service.

We loved our few nights at thus hotel! The grounds are amazing and the rooms are lovely. We were in a suite and while it was so comfortable, they would do well to add some nonstick mats under the rugs. We had a few close calls with slipping as they are just on wood floors. The restaurant had amazing food...

We only stayed overnight at this hotel. The staff could not have been better and special mention must go to Jose Maria who was friendly efficient and helpful and made our short stay all the more enjoyable. As a widow travelling with a teenage son its often quite lonely and it was nice to have some adult conversation and not...

This is a lovely hotel set on a golf course. We were in rooms way up the back so if you're having problems with altitude request a room closer to the main building or a golf cart to take you to your room. The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good - we didn't eat any other...

Located off the main highway at the base of the mountains, this hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Both modern (lobby, bar and restaurant) and rustic (buildings with the rooms), this hotel is a class act. The rooms were large and very comfortable, with a curtained-off sitting area. The beds were comfortable and the water hot. I would have liked screens on...

A somewhat isolated compound with beautiful grounds and very nice views. The restaurant is quite good and the bar pleasant. Overall physical plant is extremely attractive BUT had no air conditioning, Peruvian don't flush the paper toilets, and internet so slow that I could not get all my email. Our group used the meeting rooms for lectures and found it...

This was our 'base' for 2 nights after we landed in Cuzco prior to visiting Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu. The facility seemed pretty new and was very comfortable and quiet (except for some early morning birds 8^) The staff was helpful but had some trouble helping me maintain a Wi-Fi connection on my iPnone and iPad - the only reason...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sacred Valley's most complete hotel: a mountain chalet-styled retreat with panoramic Andes views from every room and every angle. On more than 8 landscaped acres, it breathes an air of tranquility and relaxation. Unique among Sacred Valley hotels - most of which remain isolated in the valley, offering precious little for guests to do - it contains an extraordinary, full-service "Sacred-Spa", a domed Planetarium-&-Observatory for stargazing in the massive Southern-Hemisphere sky, and gourmet restaurant and bar. ... more   less
